I’ve lived with pets my entire life and understand that every animal has its own personality, routine, and needs. My family currently has a 7-year-old Shih Tzu named Pandora and a cat named Lira, so I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats. Being around animals has always been a part of my daily life, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them, whether that means going for walks, playing, or simply keeping them company. For two years while living in New York, I also regularly cared for my roommate’s 2-year-old Maltipoo, Benji, while she was at work. I took him on walks, kept him company, took him to veterinary appointments when needed, and helped with the day-to-day responsibilities of making sure he was happy, healthy, and well cared for. That experience reinforced the importance of being dependable and attentive when someone else is trusting you with a beloved pet. As a freelance photographer, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the attention they deserve rather than rushing through visits. I’m calm, patient, reliable, and committed to making pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. .

Super hôte ! Lucas et sa petite amie ont pris grand soin de notre chat Rumi qui a été très heureuse cette semaine avec eux. Nous avons eu plein de nouvelles fréquentes et de très jolies photos! Je recommande à 200% et n’hésiterai pas à leur demander à nouveau de garder notre bestiole ! Un grand merci.
Lucas a été extrêmement attentif au bien être de notre Cocker de 6 ans. Il nous a régulièrement envoyé des nouvelles et de (magnifiques) photos pendant la garde. Je lui ferai confiance pour une nouvelle garde lorsque l’occasion se présentera sans hésiter !
Lucas s'est occupé de ma chienne, Flor, et j'ai adoré ! Une super expérience ! Ponctuel, communicatif, responsable et on voit bien qu'il adore les animaux ! Je le recommande vivement !

Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I work as a freelance photographer and have a flexible schedule. This allows me to plan my days around walks, visits, feeding times, and making sure pets receive the attention and companionship they need. I’m used to organizing my schedule independently and being reliable with appointments and routines. Whether it’s a morning walk, a midday check-in, or spending time with a pet while their owner is away, I can adapt my schedule to help maintain the routines that pets are already comfortable with. I also enjoy being active and spending time outdoors, so regular walks and playtime are something I genuinely look forward to.

When caring for pets, my priority is helping them feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed while maintaining the routine they’re familiar with. In a pet owner’s home, I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, walks, exercise, medications (if applicable), and any specific preferences or routines. I understand that consistency is important for pets, especially when their owners are away. I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality and comfort level. Some pets enjoy lots of play and interaction, while others prefer a calmer approach and companionship. I’m happy to adapt to what makes them feel most comfortable. I also make sure owners stay informed by providing updates, photos, and messages so they can have peace of mind while they’re away.
