I am currently job searching, so I will be free almost every weekday with exception for surprise obligations that my family often come to me with. I am not available on the weekends, including friday for various extraneous responsibilities.

When I first meet an animal, I get down to their level and extend my hand just enough to offer it as an option for them to investigate, but not enough to shove it it their face. I wait until the dog or cat engages with me before I try to pet them on my own to ensure that they feel comfortable and safe. If your animal has separation anxiety, I would be more than happy to comfort them with calming words and gentle hands for pets and snuggles. I will only feed or give your animal a treat if I am told to do so or given the okay beforehand as I do not want to over feed them or give them a treat you have bought without consent.

Your animal and I will play with toys, snuggle, go on walks (if permitted to do so), find new smells, play fetch, and your fur baby with of course receive plenty of love and affection from me.

My mom got me my first dog when I was 10 years old, and it was from then on that I promised to take care of him the best way I knew how. I have experience administering medication (in pill form, liquid, and gel) to both dogs and cats, even when they don’t want to take it. I have also personally trained my dog to sit, lie down, high five, and on accident, I taught him to get up on his hind legs and beg with his front paws. If there is any special care that your animal needs, I would be more than happy to quickly and efficiently learn and adapt to care for your animal the way they deserve.
