I am Lucia-Borbala, a qualified dog behaviorist, R+ dog trainer, and professional animal caretaker. ✦ PET SITTING ✦ I work in the Guardian’s home, to ensure complete calmness and keep up the routine for the pet(s) in a familiar environment. My services include feeding, walking, recapping, and practicing the training plan you are already following, as well as management, ensuring safety, calmness, low-stress handling, motivation, play, giving medicine, and providing company and full attention. More can be added after discussion. I am well-prepared for clients with special needs too. I am available for drop-ins to months-long pet&house sittings. If you have more pets in your family, I can take complete care of them as well. I have hands-on experience in caring for cats, horses, pigs, chickens, ducks, turkeys, rodents, Erinaceinae, reptiles, and fish too. I have an EU driver’s license, and phone contact with a veterinary assistant 0-24. I am also a hobby botanist, you can trust both your indoor plants and garden to me, I feel joy in caring for them. I am also a plant collector and enthusiast of exotic species. ✦ DOG BEHAVIORISM, THERAPY AND TRAINING ✦ My 20+ years of experience in pet-sitting, dog therapy-, training-, and care built up my routine, which is rooted in positive reinforcement, compassion, science, and a deep understanding of canine behavior. I prioritize your dog's emotional well-being and create a fear-free learning environment. I am committed to quality training and always respect your dog's needs. My aim is to establish a joyful journey of canine companionship for both dogs and their guardians. I have a wide spectrum of experiences with different breeds and their different needs. I have a long and heartfelt professional history in animal welfare, training, and behavior since childhood. I participated in rehoming projects, helped shelter staff, held classes about dog welfare, and participated in adoption days. 2011: I gained the Hungarian Animal Protection Guard badge. 2012: I gained an EU grant from Equipeople in Ireland, where I lived, worked, and took care of 300 animals. I gained a lot of hands-on experience in healing, socialization, puppy care, rehabilitation, horse care, and the specific care of neglected competition greyhounds. I received a Europass as an Animal Caretaker there. I also obtained a Training Manager certification from "Mirror Method" and worked as a field assistant at the Ormezo Mirror School. 2021: I gained a scholarship to SciDog University, where I learned about dogs’ and wolves’ neurobiology, cognitive abilities, ethology, behavior, R+ training, Fear-Free training, LIMA, low-stress handling, veterinary basics, cooperative care, PTSD and dementia in dogs, PORTL, stress reduction, clicker training… I got my certification as a Dog Behaviorist in 2022. I did a lot in behavior therapies, city dog training, home training, being a side-trainer, holding puppy classes, and working at a doggy daycare. ✦ Furthermore, I understand the importance of respecting and maintaining the security and privacy of your home.
