From growing up on a farm to caring for pets of my own, animals have always been a huge part of my life. I genuinely love looking after them and find it incredibly rewarding. I'm a teacher and share my home with four cats and a rescue dog, Teddy, so caring for animals is very much part of my everyday routine. As I rarely travel due to my own pets, I'm often available to provide reliable care during school holidays and weekends. When I'm home for the day, Teddy enjoys three walks, plenty of ball games, and enrichment activities that encourage sniffing and exploration. Since recently moving to Reading, we've been enjoying discovering local parks and green spaces together. If your dog is energetic and active, they can expect the same level of exercise, stimulation, and attention, along with plenty of cuddles and affection. As Teddy is a rescue dog and my first dog, I've learned a great deal about canine behaviour and care. I strongly believe that understanding an animal's history, personality, and individual needs is key to providing the best possible care. Every pet is different, and I take the time to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and well supported while in my care. My home also benefits from a secure garden, a dedicated cat summer house, and easy access to two nearby parks, providing plenty of opportunities for exercise, play, and relaxation.
