My husband and I have hybrid tech jobs, but there's someone home 90% of the time. We have an active lifestyle close to home with two young kids. At least one of us runs or hikes a few times a week and we like to take our pet clients.

We can host fully housebroken dogs that are good around a toddler and a baby and are okay sleeping by themselves on a dog bed downstairs. Unfortunately, we cannot watch puppies (< 1 year old) at this time. We have a large, fully fenced yard for a good game of fetch. We are able to provide frequent potty breaks in the yard and on walks daily. Your dog is safe with us at all times. We only watch one dog at a time, so our clients don't need to like other dogs.

I'd like to know if the dog is reactive towards other dogs, if they like to counter-surf, if they can be trusted to roam freely when left alone, if they sleep through the night, how often they take potty breaks at home, special feeding instructions, and anything else of which we should be aware to ensure a happy stay. Due to allergies in some dogs, I keep non-poultry, grain-free treats in my home, but you are welcome to bring your own.
A typical day
Your pooch will go on several potty walks and one long walk/run every day. The rest of the day they get to cuddle/roam around the house and play in the backyard. If your dog is active, they'd join us on our regular Rattlesnake hikes.

I have owned dogs since childhood, ranging from small poodles to a large goldendoodle. I have also fostered for the Seattle Humane but We don't own dogs at the moment, so yours will be the queen/king of the house.

We have boarded our dog Ella with Lourdez and her family on multiple occasions. Lourdez always takes great care of our dog, ensures she gets outside for walks or hikes, and treats her as part of the family. She sends frequent updates and communications are easy. We are very happy to have Lourdez as our sitter!
We have brought our dog Ella to Lourdez several times now, both for daycare and overnight stays. Ella always enjoys her stay and gets to go for exploratory outings around Talus or longer hikes in the Issaquah area. Lourdez is always friendly, communicative, and easy going. We will definitely continue bringing Ella to her when we need a sitter!
Lourdez was amazing! Our dog Coco loved her stay. We got daily pictures and Coco got lots of exercise. Will definitely be using her again
