Hello I’m Lourdes! 🐶 I offer dog walking, drop-in visits and house sitting. I have 30 years of experience caring for dogs and have had several beloved dogs throughout my life. Caring for dogs has always been something I truly enjoy and I have a deep admiration for their companionship and unique personalities. House sitting can be a wonderful option for pets who feel most comfortable in their own home. I’ll make sure your pets receive plenty of love, attention, exercise and care while also keeping your home clean and tidy, just as I found it! I’m new to Arlington and excited to start caring for dogs in my new community. Long walks are just better with a dog by your side! 🐾😊

With 30 years of experience caring for dogs, I understand how important it is to provide a safe, calm and trustworthy environment. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always follow their routines, care instructions, and individual needs. Your pet’s safety and well-being are my top priorities. I’m attentive to their surroundings, behavior, and comfort and I provide regular updates so you can feel confident knowing they are in good hands. When house sitting, I also respect your home and make sure it remains clean, secure and just as I found it. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away.

Lindy (Lourdes) took care of our 11-month old lab puppy and 20 year old cat for 5 days and was amazing!! She sent multiple photos and updates each day and we were completely comfortable having her stay at our house and take care of our pets and was very respectful of our home. She was very responsive with any questions we had. She took our dog for multiple walks a day, including long walks in the snow. This is the second time she has stayed with our pets and we're hoping she's available for a third time in April, we couldn't be happier!
MAX is our New Boston Terrier puppy, and as puppies are they need frequent meals and potty breaks. Lourdes did a fabulous job with Max's lunch and breaks . It was clear that Max loved being with Lourdes. She really came through to help us in a pinch. We got many pics /texts and he was in good hands!
Lourdes is timely and very responsible!
Lindy is 100% remarkable as a pet sitter. No exaggeration! She stayed for five days with our PTSD (and VERY challenging) little three-legged dog, and completely won him over with patience, kindness, dog-whispering wisdom, and calm. Our cat was also clearly petted, brushed and loved. She's a pleasure to work with for humans, too: communication excellent the whole time, photos adorable...and our house was neat as a pin to come home to. Thank you Lindy!

Lindy was wonderful with our super energetic pup! She left our house in great condition and was a good communicator. When she ran into an issue with Riley, she let us know it and how it was resolved. Would definitely have her watch Riley again.

I’m able to accommodate different schedules for dog walking, drop-in visits and house sitting, including weekdays and weekends.
