Safety, trust & environment

When walking or visiting pets in their own home, I follow any instructions carefully and make sure your pet feels comfortable and safe in familiar surroundings. I take time to build trust and always approach animals gently and calmly. I’m also certified in pet first aid and fully insured. If your dog is staying with me, they’ll be in a calm, tidy garden flat with direct access to a big fenced garden and no other pets or distractions. I live very close to big parks and quiet green spaces, so there are lovely walking routes right outside my door. Safety is always my top priority, from using secure leads and harnesses to never leaving pets unsupervised outdoors.

Information Louise T. would like to know about your pet

Before meeting a new dog, it’s really helpful to know a bit about their personality, daily routine, walking preferences and any medical or behavioural needs. I also like to know how they are around other dogs, what their favourite treats or toys are and if there’s anything that makes them nervous so I can make their time with me as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.

A typical day

Each day is tailored to the pet’s needs, but walks are always a highlight. I love taking dogs to local parks or letting them run around in the big fenced garden, which they can access directly from my garden flat. Depending on the dog’s energy level and temperament, we’ll either enjoy a peaceful stroll or a more active session with games and play.

Pet care experience

Hi, I’m Louise, an experienced dog lover offering reliable, kind-hearted dog walking, in-home visits and boarding across West and North London. I’ve grown up with dogs and have spent the last 10 years regularly caring for dogs belonging to friends and family, from playful pups to gentle seniors. These experiences have taught me how to read dog behaviour, stay calm in all situations and treat every dog with care and respect. I work primarily from home and set my own hours, which means I’m very flexible and can fit around your schedule, whether you need a daily walker, occasional visits, or last-minute support. I’ve completed a certified pet first aid course, I’m fully insured through Pet Business Insurance, and I am DBS-checked. After a cancer diagnosis in 2024, I wanted to spend my spare time in a more meaningful way. That’s why I donate 15 percent of my profits to Medical Detection Dogs, a charity training dogs to detect cancer and other serious illnesses. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t love the idea of tiny doctor dogs. I can’t wait to meet you and your dog soon.

Louise watched Sadie for the evening while we out, I could tell Sadie had a lovely time. Louise was easy to reach, communicative, and kind. We absolutely will reach out again for other dog-sitting/boarding. Thank you so much!

Louise is absolutely lovely and took fantastic care of our 10-month-old pup, Luna. She kept us updated throughout the day, which gave us great peace of mind. It was clear that Luna had a wonderful time, especially enjoying Louise’s garden! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Louise to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter, and we’ll definitely be booking with her again in the future.
