Welcome! If you’re looking for a calm, caring, home-from-home experience for your dog, I’d love to help. As a retiree and lifelong dog lover with over 10 years’ experience caring for Miniature Dachshunds, I understand that every dog is unique. That’s why I only welcome one guest dog at a time, allowing me to give them my full attention, plenty of affection, and a relaxed, stress-free stay. My home is a detached house with a secure private garden backing onto beautiful woodland, set in the peaceful surroundings of a golf course with wonderful nature walks right on the doorstep. With just two adults in the house, it’s a quiet environment that’s particularly well suited to older dogs, anxious or nervous dogs, or those who simply prefer a slower pace of life. Whether your dog enjoys gentle walks, playing in the garden, or snoozing on a comfy bed after a cuddle, they’ll be cared for as if they were my own. I know how important it is to leave your dog with someone you trust, and my goal is to make every stay as safe, comfortable, and enjoyable as possible—for both you and your dog. I look forward to welcoming your four-legged family member into our home.

I’ve known Louise for over 30 years. She loves all animals, especially dogs. Shes a kind person who will do anything to ensure your dog is happy. Her little Daxies were two little scared girls when she first rescued them. They are now possibly the happiest dogs I’ve met. They have come on so much and are now living their best life.
I’ve known Louise for many years and she is a huge dog lover. Her mini daschunds are almost certainly the most pampered little dogs in England! Lovely calm environment with a great safe garden. Would recommend 100 percent.

Schedule
As I’m retired, your dog will be part of my daily routine and enjoy plenty of company throughout the day. Apart from a short trip to the gym, I’m home most of the time, so there’ll be lots of attention, cuddles, playtime, gentle walks, and time to relax in a calm, peaceful environment.

Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. We live in a quiet, detached home on a peaceful lane, with a fully enclosed, secure garden backing onto beautiful woodland. Surrounded by fields, nature walks, and a golf course, it’s the perfect setting for gentle adventures and relaxed days. With just my husband and me at home, it’s a calm, low-stress environment that’s especially well suited to older, nervous, or anxious dogs, giving them a safe and loving place to feel completely at home

A typical day
Every dog is different, so I like to tailor the day to suit their personality and routine. Whether they enjoy gentle walks, pottering around the secure garden, playing with toys, or simply curling up for cuddles, they’ll be free to enjoy their day at their own pace. With plenty of company, a calm home, and lots of love and attention, your dog can relax, feel safe, and be treated like one of the family.
