I grew up with dogs, and have volunteered at the Humane Society of Genesee County in Michigan as a teenager and at Soul Dog Rescue in Colorado as an adult. I have experience walking and handling all kinds of dogs and I've loved every minutes of it! I'm a WFH tech research worker so I understand the importance of routine and responsibility when it comes to care services. My apartment complex now sadly doesn't allow dogs otherwise I would have one of my own. The silver lining is that I'll use that energy to love and care for your pup as my own :).

I have experience dog/cat sitting outside my own home so I'm very comfortable caring for animals in their own space. I love to keep routines as normal and expected as possible, so I'm likely to ask questions about what your dog expects on a day-to-day basis so I can reduce disruption and be a source of fun/comfort for your pet.

Louise has done me a serious solid more than once. My dog, Jake from State Farm, hates most men and we haven’t been able to figure out what triggers it. He also changes his mind suddenly without any clear reason (it’s not the guys, he’s never left alone with them). Best I can tell, he’s jealous. Anyway, means that 70% of people I could ask to watch him or take him for a walk are no gos. He’s also a bulldozer who is dog reactive, so he’s not the easiest to walk. Louise has stepped in when I had no one else, kept him happy, and knocked him out with good long walks, even when Virginia weather wasn’t predictable. She’s not above cuddling, either, which is his third favorite thing after walks and food, respectively.
Louise looked after our pup, an Aussie shepherd mix, for a few days while we were travelling. She was amazing! She made sure that Gnocchi was fed on schedule, walked regularly, and sent us photos to let us know that she( the dog) was having a great time.

Harmonogram
I have a full time work from home job so my hours are flexible during the week to attend to your pup! I tend to be punctual and responsive because I take caring for your pet just as serious as my day job. I'm also available nights and weekends to stop by and make sure your dog is well cared for.
