I am currently available during the week for dog walking, drop-in visits & dog sitting/daycare within the owner's home. I have a young daughter who absolutely loves dogs, however she's currently just a little bit too small for us to board or provide daycare to unfamiliar dogs in our home. Occasionally I am available at weekends as well - so please do get in touch if you need weekend help too!

I will follow your instructions carefully to ensure your dog is safe and happy. They will get plenty of exercise, cuddles & playtime, depending on their energy levels! For very active dogs I can offer days out, where they will be taken on extended walks (on their lead) out in beautiful locations such as the South Lakes, Yorkshire Dales & Peak District. My car has everything to keep them safe on journeys, I have a hammock for the back seats, a dog car seat, seatbelt attachment and a safety partition.

If your doggy isn't a fan of other dogs I will make sure they have safe and happy walks on the lead, avoiding any situations that aren't safe.
A typical day
Whilst in my care your dog will get lovely walks, where they can sniff, get their steps in & interact with other dogs (if appropriate). If booking boarding/day care, as mentioned above, I can take your dog further afield for an adventurous day out. I am an experienced hiker and love nothing more than being out on the trails. If you would like an adventure day out for your dog please just mention this at the time of your booking.

I am an animal lover who has over 15 years of experience taking care of dogs. I rescued an ex racing Greyhound in 2015, her name was Frankie, she lived with me for almost 9 happy years before we sadly lost her to old age and failing health. I love spending time with dogs and have regularly walked and looked after different breeds including; Golden Retriever, Cockapoo, Staffie, Terrier, Lab/Collie cross, Pug, Bedlington Whippet and French Bulldog. I am very comfortable with any size and breed of dog. I'm a keen walker and love being outdoors, which is why dog-care suits me well!

Louise took wonderful care of our two sproodles, Ralph and Hugo, while we were away, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the start, she was reliable, friendly, and clearly very experienced with dogs. Ralph and Hugo both have plenty of energy and their own little quirks, but Louise handled them brilliantly. She made sure they got plenty of exercise, attention, and affection, and it was obvious they were completely comfortable and happy in her care. We especially appreciated the regular updates and photos, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. We came home to two very content, well-looked-after dogs, and it was clear they’d had a great time. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Louise to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker, and we’ll definitely be asking her again in the future.

Louise has been an absolute godsend during a period of quite intense health-related constraints. She has been so responsive, communicative, and has such clear affection for dogs. Frida (🐶) is absolutely besotted, and spending time with Louise’s child has made her even more comfortable with children.
After moving to a new area, Louise has been a dream to find for our whippet. She has been great at getting to know duke, being very in tune to his nature and really responsive to messages too.
