I have a lifetime of dog care experience. I have been brought up with various different breeds, including Jack Russel Terrier’s, Boarder Terriers and Golden Retrievers. The Schnauzer is my specialty and I have bred several litters and enjoy grooming them. I have been working as a dog groomer, home boarder and walker for more than 25 years. I recently moved my business from London to Stroud. Fortunately many of my fabulous dogs and their owners from London still come and board with me or come for grooming. (6 hour round trip) There are not many carers out there with my extensive experience. My priority is the welfare of your animals, I have never had a dog that is not enthusiastic to return to stay with us. Dogs are my passion and i love caring for them, they receive lots of love and individual attention, as if they were my own dogs. I love my job! I have had much success with nervous dogs that do not socialise with other dogs well. I will regularly update you with pictures/videos of your dog and information on how their day is going. Dogs are walked according to their needs once/twice a day. They have access to the garden most of the time when at home. I offer a collection and delivery service for an additional cost. We are fully insured for walking, boarding and grooming. I have completed a canine First Aid course. All dogs receive 24 hours a day care. they are never left alone. I also have lots of experience with elderly dogs or dogs that have special health care needs. Puppies and juvenile dogs do very well in a small pack situation. I have bred several litters of puppies myself. We have 2 very social dogs of our own. I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies.

Louise is clearly really knowledgeable and at ease with dogs of all kinds! it was a pleasure to take Millie to stay overnight, knowing she was in capable hands. Millie gradually settled into her time with the other lovely dogs there, even though she is an independent sort of gal. Louise understood her nature and worked with that, keeping us informed as to how Millie was doing. Millie even had her claws trimmed! I had no worries at all and would definitely ask Louise again in future. Thank you !

Louise had Maple for an overnight stay. She was very helpful & picked & dropped Maple off. Louise was very communicative about Maples progress while she was with her.

Schedule
Animal care is my full time job, I never leave the dogs alone. I'm fully insured . I walk for 1-2 hours in the morning. Then a sleep for some dogs. others may play. In the summer I provide plenty of shade and a paddling pool

Safety, trust & environment
The dogs have the run of my home and garden. Generally after a good walk in the morning, dogs will relax at home or play. During the afternoon, they if requested can have a second walk if required.

A typical day
I am always up at 7am to let the dogs out and feed them breakfast. Later in the morning we go for a walk. Then home for a relax. Then late afternoon we have our second walk.
