Safety and reliability are top priorities! Dogs and I just click. I’ll bet that before the end of my first pop in with your pet they will consider me “Aunt Lou.” I’ve been pet sitting for neighbors, friends and family for many years. New to Rover. NOT new to loving animals. I will treat your pet with all the love they deserve as if they were my own. I always take their safety very serious and you can trust they will be in good hands with me. Meeting me is ALWAYS free and no obligation to book me. I’m happy to come by to meet the family at your convenience. I’ve had dogs since I was a child. We have two rescues now, Nemi and Slate. I would be pleased to take care of your dog(s) and keep them as happy as they can be in your absence. Giving your fur baby lots of TLC and exercise would be part of the royal treatment. I am happy to share videos and pics of your pet when I pop in to spend time with them. I can absolutely handle big strong dogs. I have a variety of experience with dog breeds, personalities and needs. Senior dogs to puppy’s. Pit Bull Terrier to miniature pincher. Let’s meet! I bet I’m a good fit for your family.

Louise has been absolutely fantastic with my dog and 2 cats. You can tell she truly loves animals in all her interactions with them, and they love her in return. I was a bit concerned prior to booking her as this was the first time either myself or my pets have had a petsitter, and my dog is special needs and needs additional accommodation, but Louise handled everything very well, with great love and attention to detail. She has gone above and beyond with my furry crew and my pets look forward to the next time she visits! (Plus, she's a fantastic photographer and has got some very nice shots of the animals when she can get them to stop snuggling her for a minute!) We all look forward to booking her again in the near future.

Safety is my number one priority. As a dog mama I understand how scary it could be to trust someone to keep my dogs from escaping or being hurt while I was away. I am very vigilant and cautious. I would walk your dogs on a leash or play with them in your yard. Plenty of exercise, snuggling and TLC come with every visit. I am also available to clean up after them in your yard or any accidents that may have happened between visits.

A typical day
Tug of war, fetch, and chasing me around the yard is always a blast! We will enjoy a long walk exploring or playing in your yard with a favorite toy, ball or run around the yard as I do with my own two dogs. Clean up with soft towels after a rainy day. They love that! I am high energy so I am up for anything that helps the doggies get the wiggles out.

Availability
I offer my services with plenty of flexibility. I am preparing to retire from the military reserves. Rover will soon be my full time job. I do still train with the national guard once a month. I have that schedule for the rest of the fiscal year. I am married with two middle grade kids that keep me busy but are also very independent and support me caring for pets. We are all pet lovers and truly understand how difficult it is to trust people with caring for four legged family members. As vacationing goes taking pets is not always an option and I can very much relate to how difficult it can be to travel and feel comfortable leaving pets at home. I am here for you and your family. I will love them in your absence as if they were my own fur babies.
