I work from home, so I get up early to get the steps in with the pups. I have the opportunity to to walk the dogs early in the morning and then in the evening. The pups have access to a large fenced garden all day every day if they want to go out as much or as little as they want to. I do have a crate, good for any sized dog if this is your preference but I'm also happy for the dogs to lay on my sofa watching tv, playing with toys and even sleeping on the bed with me. I firmly believe that it's best for your dog to have the home experience when your away. I play with them, walk them, and give cuddle depending on the instructions you give.

I have a 3 bedroom house with a large fenced garden. I have 2 dogs to keep your dog company and become their new friends or I can keep them away from your dogs if they prefer, as i know some pups are happier on their own. I have a massive crate for dogs of all sizes if that is how your fur babies are comfortable but I will happily let them sleep wherever they like if your dog is used to being in a bedroom or kitchen etc. I will happily treat your dog like I would my own with walks, playing or just relaxing based on their needs. They will be with me all day or all night. I'm available for days or nights entirely dependent on your needs and I don't require a lot of notice. I am happy sending you cute pictures on whatsapp or facebook messenger so you have the reassurance they are fine and happy. I can take multiple dogs if you have a few, but I will not look to mix your dog with others as I don't want anything to stress your pup whilst with me. I can care for any age from small rambunctious baby to the dignified older dog. My own pups switch from majestic to sleepy to playful so I am used to anything and everything. I am NOT a kennels, I am the home away from home so they get treated like my own according to your instructions. Also please don't worry if your dog pulls on a lead, jumps up or has any other quirks. I have dealt with it all and I love dogs of all temperaments and personalities so you truly have nothing to worry about. You can come visit before hand with or without your pup, ask questions, meet my monsters and tell me if there is anything you need from me.

Please let me know your pups routine, I will try to stick to it as much as possible as it tends to help them settle in to a new place with a new person whilst you are away. If you can let me know of any commands that they know, it helps if I can instruct the dogs the same way you would. If your dog takes any medication it is important i know what it is and when it is needed. Also any fears or anxieties your dog may have. I would not want to put your pup in a position that they are uncomfortable or scared in my care. I can then alter the care I give as appropriate.
A typical day
I have multiple areas around me for walks such as the basins, Wellington park, the wellington monument as well as lots of fields and woods nearby for walks. I have 2 enclosed dog fields near me which is good for pups to have a run around, a swim or play in a safe place they can be off the lead.

I have had pets my whole life everything from toy poodles, old english sheep dogs and malamutes. I helped at a dog rescue from 10 years old until I was 21, walking, feeding, cleaning and grooming dogs that had needed to be in a rescue. So I have lots of experience with many breeds, many ages and dogs with certain needs due to past experiences. In my photos I have included a couple of the dogs I have looked after. I have two Alaskan malamutes of my own which can be new playmates for your fur babies or I can keep them separate if needed. I have been looking after different dogs for friends whilst they go on holiday. So don't worry if your pup has certain preferences for being in a crate, or avoiding a crate, jumps up etc etc, I know what dogs are like and they always do the unexpected. You can be assured that your pooch is safe and cared for whilst you are at work or away on holiday.

We're disappointed to have to write a negative review, and we've never had to on Rover before, but I felt it important to be honest about our experience. It is clear that Louise has, or had, a flea infestation at the time of boarding Eider. On getting home after her two day stay with Louise, we immediately noticed them. After two hours of bathing, combing, and velocity drying her, we removed over 40 fleas. While Louise was communicative during the booking itself, once we raised this issue with her, she ignored our messages despite being active on the website. After two weeks Louise finally replied to say that Eider must have had fleas before the stay. If this is the case why would she not say anything about it during the stay or on pick-up? That amount of fleas do not go unnoticed. Eider has never had fleas before and is on regular oral flea tablets, and being a poodle, she is regularly bathed and dried, brushed daily, and goes to the groomers. We have never had a single instance of a flea. This experience was negative enough but Louise’s lack of accountability and refusal to refund any of the costs made a bad situation worse. We booked Louise due to being a “Star Sitter,” expecting premium care at a premium price. Unfortunately our experience was extremely upsetting and has shaken our trust of “Star Sitters” on the platform.

Louise was absolutely amazing with my Freddie, he’s absolutely worn out now! He was absolutely full of energy & his first time in day care but louise did an excellent job with keeping me updated & fulfilling all of Freddie’s needs. Thankyou so much 🖤🐾
First time using Rover and we would happily book with Louise again. Louise kept us updated over the weekend with lots of photos and Otto seemed to settle in with no issues. We booked last minute and Louise communicated with us and answered any of our queries before we arrived. Very happy with the service we received and it was good to know Otto received lots of attention over the weekend.
