I’m a stay at home mum so I’m very flexible because I don’t have work commitments and I am available most of the time at short notice.

I often use cat sitters myself and I know everybody likes their pets cared for differently and that each animal will have different needs. If you want empty food pouches or cans removed, meds administered, cats sat with for cuddles, litter cleaned or cat bowls cleaned etc, just let me know and I am happy to do things in whatever way is best for you and your cat.
Information Louise A. would like to know about your pet
Any meds, specific behaviours, grooming requirement or behavioural issues, just let me know and I will accommodate in whatever way is best for your moggy!
A typical day
I am happy to take your lead so just let me know what’s required. If you’ve a cat who loves cuddles and attention, I will spend my time doing that. If they’re anxious and prefer to be left alone, I can just do the feed and make minimal fuss so I don’t stress them. You know your cat best, so feel free to tell me how best to care for them.

A reliable cat lover you can trust
Pet care experience
I’ve had cats since birth and currently have two much loved family cats who are my pride and joy. Nothing is too much for my moggies! One is an outdoor cat and very confident but the other is an indoor cat who has always had issues with strangers and can be very timid. We have had to work very carefully with her to introduce her to a second cat and our two human children but she’s now very settled and happy. As a long hair tabby with anxiety issues she can overgroom herself so I’m very used to dealing with furballs and cat sick and it’s not a problem to clear it up. She also only toilets indoors so cat litter is not a problem for me. Both of our cats are immaculately groomed and well cared for. I have cat sat for countless families over the years, both on and off Rover, and always get good feedback. I’m not just a cat lover, I’m a very safe pair of hands and you can trust me if you’re nervous about leaving your cats with a stranger. Before children I was a police officer with Surrey Police so you can leave me with your pets and home with peace of mind. I currently have a valid enhanced DBS certificate. As someone who often uses cat sitters herself, I know how important that is. I share photo updates with you of your cats while you’re away (if that’s your preference) and always take away any used litter and cat food packets to keep the house smelling fresh.

This was our first time using a cat sitter and we would not hesitate to use Louise again. Very friendly and professional.

I can't recommend Louise highly enough. It was my first time using Rover and leaving my cat with someone I didn't know so I felt a bit anxious but Louise put me completely at ease from the very beginning. She was friendly, professional and clearly very experienced with cats and I felt confident that my cat was in safe hands. Throughout the time I was away she was very communicative, sending regular updates and photos, which made such a difference and really helped me relax. I came home to a happy, well-looked-after cat, and I wouldn't hesitate to book her again. Thank you so much!

Louise was fast to respond to messages and arrived every day as promised, even going as far as to notice my bin day and put the cat poo bags out accordingly (which wasn't something we'd asked her to do!). She kept me up to date with goings on at the house while we were away and seemed to bond well with my two cats during her meet & greet visit. I guess I would have preferred that she spent a bit longer at the house each day, but their needs were very low maintenance so there wasn't much to do after cat litter cleaned. I would happily use Louise again if I needed someone to look after my cats and would recommend her.
I am so glad to have come across Louise’s profile - Matilda is such a nervous cat around strangers & will hide away from people she doesn’t know, so it’s always a worry leaving her. It was such a surprise, and a relief, to see the photos and videos of Matilda coming out & getting lots of fuss from Louise. We came home to a cat who had clearly been well looked after. I will definitely be calling on Louise again.
