I am currently working part time as a social worker in Sun Prairie. I am available for pet care Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, and Friday mornings. In the Summer, I have a lot more availability and may be available throughout the week, too.

A typical day
I love to play with dogs. We will go on walks to allow lots of sniffs, introduce puzzle toys and games, and enjoy lots of snuggles. With cats, I enjoy playing indoors with their favorite toys.

I’ve taken care of animals since I was a young girl occasionally pet sitting around the neighborhood. Now, I am an avid animal lover. I volunteer at the Dane County Humane Society where I care for a variety of animals. I have experience caring for animals with diverse medical needs.

Louisa was a fantastic sitter. Our fur babies were very comfortable with her: we have a very shy kitty who usually doesn't come out when strangers are around, but Louisa was able to coax her! She was especially great with our (VERY) old dog, who struggles with canine cognitive dysfunction and degenerative myelopathy. Louisa made sure to check in with us, gave him his meds on time, and overall provided him a wonderful experience in his own home (he's so confused he can no longer be boarded for any length of time). If we need a sitter again, we will DEFINITELY choose Louisa, and we HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who needs loving and compassionate care for their animals.
Louisa did a great job with our dogs, and gave us updates about how they were doing. Would love to hire her again!
