I’ve taken care of animals since I was a young girl occasionally pet sitting around the neighborhood. Now, I am an avid animal lover. I have years of volunteer experience at the Dane County Humane Society where I care for a variety of animals. I have experience caring for animals with diverse medical needs.

Louisa was a fantastic sitter. Our fur babies were very comfortable with her: we have a very shy kitty who usually doesn't come out when strangers are around, but Louisa was able to coax her! She was especially great with our (VERY) old dog, who struggles with canine cognitive dysfunction and degenerative myelopathy. Louisa made sure to check in with us, gave him his meds on time, and overall provided him a wonderful experience in his own home (he's so confused he can no longer be boarded for any length of time). If we need a sitter again, we will DEFINITELY choose Louisa, and we HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who needs loving and compassionate care for their animals.

Louisa was incredibly good with my high energy pup! She stayed at my home which allowed my dog to feel safe while receiving several walks each day. I especially appreciated the checks she did related to safety and my dog’s likes and dislikes during a first meet and greet. I will request Louisa for all future needs.

Schedule
I am a geriatric social worker in Dane County. I have most holidays off, but am available after 4pm during the work week. I am also available over the weekends for pet care.

I believe that trust is essential in a petsitter. I will provide frequent updates, pictures, and videos of your pets as well as try my best to accommodate to specific requests.

A typical day
I love to play with dogs. We will go on walks to allow lots of sniffs, introduce puzzle toys and games, and enjoy lots of snuggles. With cats, I enjoy playing indoors with their favorite toys.
