Unfortunately, this began poorly and only became more concerning from there. The communication even prior to the sit was minimal, but I do give people the benefit of the doubt as they may just be busy. I clearly asked that Louisa arrive before 8:00 a.m. because the dogs typically wake around 7:00, and even stretched that time to 8:00 to not make it such an early arrival for her. Both Jim and I emphasized the importance of being there by 8:00, and Louisa assured us that would not be a problem. Despite that, the dogs were not let out until nearly 9:45 a.m. Before her arrival, I had also made it very clear that promptness matters to me, and again, she confirmed that she understood. After Louisa arrived, I told her we were already not off to a great start and that better communication would be important moving forward. No reply. Instead, she invited men into our home and falsely claimed the first man in question was only dropping something off. The next morning, I checked our Ring camera and discovered there were four cars in our driveway. Two men she invited stayed overnight in our home! Also another female friend(which I did approve prior) They showered, used our towels, and despite our master bedroom being closed off, Louisa entered that private space and used the bathroom in our master suite to take a bath in my tub. When I asked Louisa why there were men staying at the house, I received no response. I then instructed her to have them leave right away, and again, she did not respond. Finally when she did she said, “ They'll be leaving shortly and we do not expect any further intrusions.” They remained in our home for another 1 1/2 hours.. When I later called to discuss everything, Louisa acted as though nothing inappropriate had happened until I brought it up directly. Even after I clearly expressed how serious this was, she apologized “profusely” as if this were to fix this situation. Ultimately, I had no choice but to ask her to leave. I lost $268 for “cancelling”. And I did go through Rover Help to work through this. I cannot recommend Louisa to anyone looking for reliability, honesty, respect for boundaries, or good judgment in their home. Her five star standing is mind boggling to me.

Louisa always takes great care of our pups and our home!

Our animals (and us too) feel spoiled when Louisa is taking care of them and our home when we are away. We know they are well tended to and loved. She sends photos that capture how happy our 4-legged family members are. And, the house is cleaned when we arrive home.

Louisa sat with our two Siberian Huskies on Thanksgiving and we couldn’t be happier! She was able to get them to warm up to her right away and they had a great time with her! She sent us lots of pictures, which we really appreciated. Definitively want to have her back again!!!

Louisa is our go-to sitter for our two pups. She is amazing! She gets our dogs out on regular walks, gives them cuddles and is incredibly responsive. We will use her every time if we can!
