Hi there! I’m Lou (they/them), an independent dog-walker and sitter with 3 years experience of caring for in dogs of all shapes and sizes - from chihuahuas to Great Danes and everything in between! I provide daycare, over-night care and walks in North East London. What started as playdates with dogs on Borrow-My-Doggie has turned into a fulfilling vocation that supplements my work as a playwright. I have built a roster of clients across Lower Clapton and am joining rover to expand my work. I have experience in caring for dogs with access needs and medical conditions including: - blindness - deafness - epilepsy I am comfortable with walking or sitting for large dogs, and I have experience taking care of rescue dogs including XL Bullies. For overnight stays, I have a large front and back garden and I live right next to Millfields Park to take boarding dogs for a proper morning or evening walk. Lou is absolutely wonderful with Hugo, my mini schnauzer. They take him on lovely walks, play with him, give him plenty of attention and cuddles, and always make sure he’s happy and settled. Hugo absolutely adores spending time with them and is always so excited to see them. It gives me such peace of mind knowing he’s in such caring hands. I feel very lucky to have found Lou and couldn’t recommend them more. Thank you Lou! <3
Louisa has looked after both of my dogs, taking them on walks and dog sitting in my home. One of my dogs is deaf and disabled and needs medication. Despite his tricky management she adores him and meets all his needs. The other dog is a big and strong bull breed and she is confident and able to walk her. She is very understanding of both of their needs. Louisa is a dog lover and loves my dogs like her own.
Lou is absolutely wonderful. She’s such a gentle, kind and caring person, and she took the best care of Kissi. She’s naturally amazing with dogs and you can really tell how much she genuinely loves caring for them. Kissi had such a great time with her, they played together for hours in the park, and Lou always kept me updated with lots of photos and messages, which gave me complete peace of mind. I would highly recommend Lou to anyone looking for someone loving, trustworthy and attentive to take care of their pet. Kissi clearly had the best time!

Schedule
- My work schedule is flexible and I’m able to slot dog walks and sleepovers in around my commitments from Monday to Friday. - I am available for occasional weekend work and would be happy to discuss on a case by case basis.

- House is situated 3 minutes from Millfields Park and 5 minutes from Hackney Marshes - Front and Back Garden - No more than 2 dogs at a time in order to provide high quality playtime and attention - Non-vegan household, any chew toys welcome - Timers and pillboxes for dogs with regular medication - BYODB (bring your own dog-bed! <3)
