Safety, trust & environment

Animals, especially dogs, have always been where my heart is. I share my home with a very energetic teenage Spaniel and as a working line she keeps me on my toes and reminds me daily why patience, care and consistency matter! I have a background in health and safety consultancy which, combined with my years of experience in dog care, I believe adds a level of professionalism in managing risk while pets are in my care. Having been a corporate office dweller for the best part of fifteen years, I now spend my days outdoors, whatever the weather, in mucky boots! So you can rest easy knowing your dog isn't a burden and is being cared for with love and enthusiasm!

Information Louisa B. would like to know about your pet

Dogs must be comfortable around children, other dogs and chickens. Curiosity around chickens is fine and we do not actively allow the dogs access to the flock, however, it your dog is prone to killing or hunting birds without control I cannot accept the booking. Please ensure your pet profile is filled in before request so I can assess your dog's suitability. Though I will not usually accept more than one dog at a time, I do have a resident Spaniel. Dogs must not be prone to resource guarding, excessive reactivity or barking.

A typical day

Days with me involve lots of play on our acre plot, relaxing on the sofa and walking the surrounding countryside. I offer breed specific enrichment where appropriate and I like to encourage good manners around the house. I am primarily a dog walker and have regularly scheduled clients throughout the week (not usually on weekends). For this reason I will only accept daycare or boarding clients on the days where my walking schedule is appropriate. When I need to pop out and cannot take boarding dogs with me, my fantastic dog loving husband is always around working from home! So your dog is never left unattended.

Pet care experience

Hi, I'm Louisa, a full time dog walker on the Vale of Belvoir. As a mum, dog owner, I understand just how much trust is involved when someone else is caring for your pets and home while you are away as well as how busy life can get! I provide a dependable, personal service where every visit is delivered by me and every pet and home is cared for as if they were my own. I have regularly scheduled clients for dog walking and room for more! Alongside walks, I can also offer daycare and home boarding for the right dog, please enquire if this is what you have in mind! I'm fully insured, Pet First Aid trained, and I believe every dog is an individual and deserves one on one care, for this reason I don't run group walks and dog walking clients can expect a one on one service for their dogs. Whether it's a countryside walk, a day of company while you're at work, overnight stay or a pop in visit, my aim is simply to make your dog feel safe, happy and at home.
