Loving Caring Animal Rescuer
Animal lover and former rescuer will take great care of your dog - as well as if my own. I believe in the study regarding kenneling of dogs, that it causes depression so you are making the right decision not to remove your pet from their home for care while you are out of town. Walks, playing, car rides or whatever your animal is used to doing when you are there. I will give them the love and attention they crave and need especially when you are not there. I am mature, experienced and have excellent references. I only petsit through Rover. I currently volunteer with Pooch Savers Rescue as well as transport for Legacy Humane Society and Saving Pyrs In Need. I have previously volunteered with Operation Kindness and DFW Cocker Spaniel Rescue. I have transported over 50,000 miles the last 20 years and helped rescue over 2650 dogs. Why I love dog sitting I have loved animals, especially dogs all my life. Lucky to have several pets while growing up. Began transporting and rescuing 20) years ago to be able to be in a position to make a difference in many dogs lives. I have volunteered with City of Plano Animal Shelter, DFW Cocker Spaniel Rescue, DASH (Dallas Australian Shepherd and Herding Group Rescue) and several people that rescue abandoned or chained dogs using their own funds. My experience administering medication I am very comfortable administering medication and use peanut butter, cheese or Pill Pockets which most animals love. I am flexible and have a job that allows me to work on my own. I love dogs and felt this was a way for me to see more dogs. I am not able to care for dogs in my home at this time, maybe a later time.

Louann was pleasant to communicate with, and our dog was safe and happy when we returned. Unfortunately, several details were missed. The pool fill was left running overnight, and it overflowed into our neighbor's yard, which the neighbor had to come and shut off for us. Our dog did not receive all of his supplements. The detailed instructions and checklist we left seem to have been ignored, and the house needed cleanup after checkout — crumbs and sticky spots in the living room and kitchen, and the bed left stripped. Each of these alone would be forgivable, and together they added up to more follow-up than we expected. I'd recommend her for a straightforward, short sit with a dog who has no medication needs.
Louann was wonderful house sitting our 4 mo old French bulldog baby while we had to be out of town for the day for a conference. When we came home our girl had good spirits and wanted to play, very different than how she does after being at daycare all day. She loved Louann. S our first time using rover, we would use her again. Thanks again!
Louann was great with our elderly Lab & high energy Boston! It was so nice to go on vacation and have the peace of mind that our dogs were being treated so well! She came before we left so dogs could have an easier transition to our leaving & was flexible with our later arrival back home. Will definitely have her back to love on our babies, again!
She is always great with our dogs and they just love her and so does my husband and I. We trust her 💯

Schedule
I am a Realtor in the North Texas area with a very flexible schedule. I love dogs so I felt this was a good avenue to love on dogs that are not my own.
