Unfortunately at this time, I'm not able to pup-sit at home. I have a dog-reaction chihuahua who is currently enrolled in training classes. However, I would be more than happy to sit in home and walk. I have experience with harness training, simple command training, and general animal care. If you leave me a list of things to accomplish, I'll make sure it's completed! I'm not afraid of scooping poops either!
Information Lou S. would like to know about your pet
Their feeding schedule, allergies, are they okay in the car, do they like the car, are they leash and harness trained, are they allowed treats, what medications do they take and how to administer them, and their temperment so I can "doggy daycare plan"
A typical day
Walks, water games in the hot weather (followed by a bath and a steam mop/vacuum of your floor, by me), and go-bye byes! For dogs that don't like the car, hanging out on the couch or the floor having some snuggles and watching some TV! I also like to read aloud and sing to my dog. He seems to enjoy it.

Pet care experience
My pet sitting career started at 10 years old when I started watching my neighbors' dogs, Coco and Django, as well as their cats. I'm now 22 and I still watch Coco and her brother Rufus from time to time! When they got a new puppy a few years ago, Rufus was a handful. I was excited and very quickly humbled. He was a challenge, but I wouldn't change him for the world. Aside from dogs and cats, I also have experience with exotics like snakes, geckos, bearded dragons, rats, aquatics and livestock. Growing up, my mom was an exotic animal foster and my aunt and uncle had a farm. At 14, I helped a lovely goat through labor... with twins! I've had an interesting and enriching childhood and I've learned a lot in my limited years. My love for animals knows no bounds. Currently, I have three cats (two of which I've had since they were neonatal kittens), a chihuahua named Poncho, three pet rats, a betta fish, and a bearded dragon. I take great pride in my animal husbandry skills! I do take a week off from rover every month to prevent burn out. If there's a week I'm unavailable and you'd like to book, please reach out as I can most like shift my week off to accommodate you and your pets!

Reviews

Lou always does a great job. My dogs are well taken care of, she cleans up after herself, and brings in the mail.

Lou did an amazing job with our babies! Our male pointer Jackson is very shy but warmed up to him right away. He was very responsive, kept us updated, and left our house in great condition. We will definitely be requesting his services anytime we need a sitter.

Lou is amazing! We had an issue with our house during the sit, and Lou went above and beyond to keep our dog safe. We highly recommend Lou!

Lou was amazing with our animals. We cannot say thank you enough for love our babies like we do while we were out of town. We would hire Lou again if needed. No questions asked.
