My pet sitting career started at 10 years old when I started watching my neighbors' dogs, Coco and Django, as well as their cats. I'm now 22 and I still watch Coco and her brother Rufus from time to time! When they got a new puppy a few years ago, Rufus was a handful. I was excited and very quickly humbled. He was a challenge, but I wouldn't change him for the world. Aside from dogs and cats, I also have experience with exotics like snakes, geckos, bearded dragons, rats, aquatics and livestock. Growing up, my mom was an exotic animal foster and my aunt and uncle had a farm. At 14, I helped a lovely goat through labor... with twins! I've had an interesting and enriching childhood and I've learned a lot in my limited years. My love for animals knows no bounds. Currently, I have three cats (two of which I've had since they were neonatal kittens), a chihuahua named Poncho, three pet rats, a betta fish, and a bearded dragon. I take great pride in my animal husbandry skills! I do take a week off from rover every month to prevent burn out.
