Most of my experience comes from a mixture of caring for my own four-legged fur babies and providing pet care to friends. While I have a big heart and feel so connected to animals, I know that doesn’t really set me apart from others here. What does set me apart is experience with higher needs pets, including administering IV fluid injections to a cat for kidney disease, providing insulin injections for a diabetic dog, and plenty of experience providing oral medication and transdermal medication. Additionally, I work from home and have experience with severe separation anxiety in my own dog, so I have no problem being available to your pet 24/7 if that’s what is needed, so long as they can go for walks with me and my dog.

Safety, trust & environment
I do require a meet and greet before booking to ensure that everyone vibes well. I mostly prefer to care for smaller dogs under 30 pounds and dogs over 3 years old as they’re reliably easier for my dog to feel relaxed around. My dog is generally very sweet and gentle, though he can occasionally be reactive with other big male dogs. He reliably does great with cats and adores them, though they’re often unsure about him at first. I am a strong communicator and very responsive. I take great care and diligence with instructions provided.

Lou is wonderful! My little pup is kind of a tricky guy; he has some trouble eating, can be reactive to other dogs, doesn’t like children, and needs lots of exercise. Lou made sure he ate (even if she had to spoon feed him to get him started!) gave him long walks, and managed his reactivity beautifully. She sent plenty of photos and updates, and clearly spent lots of time loving up on my canine bestie while I was away. Will definitely book with Lou again!
Lou has provided excellent care to our two pups when we have been out of town. She has watched them at our home and we have always felt very safe and trusting of her in our personal space. She inquires about their needs and has even given medication to my medically complex pup. I cannot say enough good things about her care for our home and our pets!

I work from home and my sweet old dog is a constant companion due to his separation anxiety. I mostly live a quiet life at home, spending time in the yard and taking walks.
