Pet care experience

🐶 Friends of Ashmoor 🐶

✔️ Large deer-fenced garden ✔️ No pets or children of our own ✔️ City & Guilds qualified in dog grooming, dog behaviour, & dog first-aid. ✔️ Insurance cover up to £25k by 'The Rover Guarantee' ✔️ One pet at a time or multiple from the same family 👉 Please note: we only accept dogs that are neutered, and well-behaved! 🐶 About us: We are a professional couple living on the edge of the New Forest who run an accountancy practice from home. We enjoy an active lifestyle when we're not at our desks, as well as a pub garden when the weather permits. My partner (Alex) and I have grown up with dogs and have always been around them in some capacity. My experience with dogs is extensive as I am also a qualified City & Guilds dog groomer. Part of my module as a groomer included pet behavior and first aid for dogs. 🐶 About our house: We are based in West Wellow, Hampshire, which is easily accessible from the motorway. Our house is spacious with a large back garden for your dog to enjoy without restrictions. The garden is deer fenced all the way around, giving them a safe playground during their stay. We have hard heated flooring throughout the ground floor of our house, so there's no need to worry about accidents or mess. The dogs love the heated floor which keeps them nice and toasty when it's time for bed. You can relax during your time away with the knowledge that we don't take security lightly; we have electric gates at the front of the property to conceal the drive from the main road, and CCTV & flood lights surrounding the house to deter any unwanted visitors. If you choose to leave your pet with us, rest assured that they will get lots of love and attention and will never be left alone for any substantial time. As the main carer for your pet, I remain completely flexible for all your pets needs. We only commit to looking after one pet at a time, meaning your pooch will be the center of our attention throughout their entire stay! 🐶 During their stay: I work from home full-time, so I’m able to keep your dog company throughout their entire stay. I like to break my working day up with lunchtime and early evening walks. I'm happy to provide you with regular updates and photos of your pet during their staycation as much as you'd like. 🐶 Meet & Greet: If you would like to arrange a meet & greet before booking your pet's staycation, I would be more than happy to invite you over at a time convenient to you both. Although we only take one dog at a time, I'm happy to have more than one dog at a time if they are from the same family or are familiar with one another. I look forward to hearing from you. Many thanks, Lorrin Please see FAQ's below 👇

Once again Lorrin (and Alex) have looked after Zari as one of their own. Thank you so much for taking such good care of her. We will definitely be using Lorrin’s services again for our next trip. xx

Lorrin provided an absolutely perfect service. She made us feel at ease straight away, that our dog would be in safe hands with her. She sent us a photo of him looking very happy in her beautiful home and he came home content and tired! Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to visit Peppa Pig World like we did, as it was only around the corner! Thank you 💖

Lorrin has looked after our dog Twiglet so wonderfully, this was the first time we have brought Twiglet here and she absolutely loved her stay. Twiglet is a rescue and subsequently reactive towards new dogs, we needed to be sure she was safe and secure away from other dogs during her stay. Lorrin was more than accommodating with all our requests, nothing was too much trouble. We had regular updates from Lorrin and we felt very relaxed knowing Twiglet was happy and being well cared for. If Lorrin had any concerns regarding Twiglet she let us know which we really appreciated. Twiglet had full use of Lorrin's very large, secure garden which she absolutely loved- it really was a home from home for her. Lorrin's partner Alex was equally wonderful with Twiglet and very sympathetic towards her and her quirky personality. We cannot thank Lorrin and Alex enough for their care, love and giving their undivided attention to Twiglet, we will definitely be using them again for future bookings! 🥰

Q. What fun activities will you do with the dogs you watch? A. I love to keep active, so if your dog needs to burn off some energy, I know a great common within walking distance of our house! If napping is more your pooches thing, bring along their bed, and they can snooze next to me in my warm, toasty office!
