Dog lover and owner!
I have owned dogs for over 25 years. I often help out neighbors who go out of town and would like to expand to include boarding in my home or yours. We lost our beloved Toby last May and decided a few months later that from here on out we want to adopt senior dogs. That first opportunity came sooner than we anticipated, and we've had our sweet Martha since October. I work close to home and am able to provide mid-day walks and exercise as I come home each day to do the same for my own dog. I work in education and am home full time during the summer! Edit/update: We unfortunately lost our sweet Martha in December. She had a health issue and our vet helped us come to the very difficult sector euthanize her. In February we adopted Gus. He is a 7 year old beagle and has become the love of our lives! His tail never stops wagging.

Lorraine was amazing. She made me feel so at ease about leaving my puppy with her right away. And my puppy fell in love with her right away. She went above and beyond make her feel at home in so many ways. I was so grateful to get regular pictures and updates too. I highly recommend Lorraine for any dog sitting needs
Lori was SO wonderful. Caring, conscientious, and kind. She updated us regularly and seemed to enjoy the company of our sweet girl. I would highly recommend Lori. She was great! Good to know she was in good hands!
This was our first experience with Rover and meeting Lori. It was a great experience. Our little Mookiee was very well cared for. We received updates and pictures. We look forward to booking again when needed.

Schedule
During the school year I am also home over school breaks and weekends and come home daily during my lunch hour. This gives me time for about a 20 minute walk. If it's pouring rain I'll take your dog out for a quick potty break and make sure s/he is toweled off with a fresh, clean towel.

Safety, trust & environment
Although I do not have a fenced in yard, I love to walk several miles each day with my dog, and would love to do the same with yours! It is the beginning of May and I am just getting started with my new endeavor. I completely understand owners' hesitancy to book with sitters who don't have many reviews. My hope is to build that trust over the next months. I think if you do a meet and greet with me, you'll feel at ease leaving your loved pup with me.

A typical day
I love walking and hiking. Being in Webster, there are endless trails to explore with your dog. One of my favorite spots for dog walking is the Gosnell Big Woods meadow. If you're not familiar, it is a mile loop around the meadow. It's a great after dinner walk, especially now that the weather is getting nice and it's light out later! At home, your pup will get lots of love and cuddles as well as time outside with me to enjoy the fresh air! Update: With ticks being worse that in the last 10 years, we are avoiding the trails with our boarders. We are sticking more to neighborhood walks this season.
