I love to care for animals... horses, dogs, and cats have all been a part of my life. From high school through college, I worked for the local veterinarian. A balance of exercise, fun, and relaxing is what I think is a good recipe to follow, whether you are an animal or a human being! If you'll allow me, I would love to get to know your special "Side-Kick". They are truly a gem in our lives.

Lorraine is very responsive in communicating details. Although we had a minor hiccup on drop off details it got worked out and our dog seems relaxed and comfortable staying with Lorraine. Her dog, Kati, is darling and kept our dog company for the weekend, as well as her cat. I appreciated the pictures we were sent throughout the weekend and the activities Lorraine provided for our pup. You can definitely trust your pet with Lorraine!

Lorraine was the best!! She had an action packed day planned for Luna and she had a great time with her sweet Kati! She was so flexible with drop off and pick up times to accommodate our situation!! Schedule
For dog sitting, I am flexible about staying in your home, or having your pet stay at mine. Enjoy walking in the neighbor or going on hikes. Mindful of adjusting the walk durations for those dogs who may not need too much exercise. I am retired, so plenty of time together. Love thinking of outings that your dog may enjoy, depending upon age and athletic interests. Custom camp adventures!

Safety, trust & environment
Safety first. Leashes at all times when anywhere near cars, and direction from the owner as to whether off-leash is preferred on trails. I will be so very mindful of safety.

A typical day
A combination of play with our dog Kati, walks, playing fetch if your pet enjoys doing so. Hanging out at the house, with a bit of time for napping or just resting. We have a deck where your pet is safely enclosed, yet can look out to the surrounding area.
