Experienced care for special needs
I have spent most of my life around animals, and have worked with them professionally for nearly two decades. My family welcomed our first dog, a 140lb Golden Retriever, when I was just four years old. Since then, I have cared for a variety of my own companion animals, including cocker spaniels, pit bulls, mastiffs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, chinchillas, birds, lizards, and fish. My professional experience includes working at boarding facilities, veterinary clinics, pet stores and wildlife centres. I have worked with many individuals and organizations in the local animal care and veterinary community. While I enjoy working with all animals, I have a special affinity towards big dogs, oversized cats, and ducks.

I understand the importance of familiarity and routine for animals, which is why I offer petsitting in your home. I know first-hand how challenging it can be to leave beloved pets behind, especially when they require extra care due to their age, illness, anxiety or behavioural issues. When I stay with your pets I treat your home with upmost respect and care, and you can trust that your fur family are in good hands while you're away.
Ratings and reviews
Within minutes of Lorna’s meet-and-greet, our pups took to her. Even our very reserved rescue warmed up to her. The pups were calm and happy and well cared for.
We had a fantastic experience with Lorna! Communication was excellent, and she always replied quickly to any messages. She followed all our directions carefully and did so well with Devī, who warmed up to her right away. She was also incredibly flexible and able to help us out at the last minute, which we really appreciated. When we got home, our house was clean and tidy. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely book with her again!

Lorna is very pleasant, considerate and our two dogs loved her. This was our first time having Lorna dog sit and the experience was perfect.
This was our first time using Rover/Lorna and she did not disappoint! I’m an anxious gal so leaving my fur babies for the first time (outside of the family) was scary but Lorna did such a good job!! She sent daily updates and pictures of our pets and reassured me that they were all doing well. We will 100% be asking Lorna to stay with them again the next time we’re out of town. Thank you Lorna, for everything!!

My schedule is quite flexible, and I work locally with a light booking load, so your beloved pets will receive my undivided attention while under my watchful care.
