When caring for cats in their homes, I focus on maintaining their environment precisely as they're accustomed to. I understand cats thrive on routine, familiarity, and enrichment. I'm meticulous about following schedules, routines, litter box maintenance, etc while providing the right balance of attention and space. For dogs, I provide a safe, engaging environment with plenty of playtime and walking outings tailored to their energy levels.

Lorna was incredible! Our dog can be a little anxious but he warmed to her immediately upon meeting. She catered to his needs, gave him meds, and took great care of Ollie. She was super responsive, gave us great updates, and left our home cleaner than when she arrived. We had a few flight delays and she was so great to stay with him and provide extra care for our pup for longer than booked. We absolutely recommend and will definitely use her in the future.
I cannot say enough great things about Lorna. She was incredibly caring, sweet, and thoughtful with my animals - ensuring they were comfortable and cared for as if they were her own. She checked in multiple times daily, sent (amazing!!!) pictures, and even reached out when my thunder-sensitive pup had to navigate a random summer storm. I cannot recommend her enough - truly!
One of my pups had a medical issue while we were out of town, and Lorna (Marissa) went way above and beyond to care for her. I’m so happy she was the one taking care of my girl. And she took wonderful care of the house. Highly recommend.
I highly recommend Marissa. We have hired her three times now and plan to continue to hire her in the future. She is very communicative, sends lots of photos and updates, and brings a sense of calm to my nervous dogs. She has gone above and beyond giving my pups extra enrichment activities and walks to keep them active. She has also been incredibly patient with all of my dogs' rescue quirks, and really made them feel safe while we are away. My dogs are a bit nervous and take time to warm up but they are always excited to see her when she comes and that is a testament to the great care she is giving them. On top of that, she has taken impeccable care of our home and garden during her stays!

I work part-time, which allows me great flexibility for pet care. I'm available for cat sitting, dog walks, check-ins on a regular schedule, and longer term care during vacations, etc. I understand how important consistency is for animals when their humans are away, and I'm committed to maintaining your pet's routine exactly as you prefer.

Even subtle preferences (like how they like to be petted or which areas of the home they favor) help me provide personalized care that keeps your pet comfortable and happy. I'm experienced with anxious pets and can adapt my approach to build trust. My goal is to ensure your pet feels secure and follows their routine while you're away.
