Cats, dogs, bunnies, horses and more — animals have always been the most wonderful part of my life! Throughout my entire life I have been responsible for providing loving care for animals, including livestock, both on a personal and professional basis. I am an artist and freelancer so I have a flexible schedule most days, which allows me to care for your pets properly. I have a reputation for being kind, respectful, and dependable, as my professional references will tell you, should you request them. Please scroll to bottom to see my full list of services, including daytime care :) My Pet-Handling Style: With all animals my training/handling style uses positive reinforcement and I am typically very calm because I tend to address situations from the animal's point of view while holding the role of a regulated and protective caregiver. I am very respectful of your home and privacy will treat them with the utmost discretion. I will communicate clearly about my coming and going. Each visit will include detailed photos, videos, and a text summary of the visit. Our relationship is built on trust. My Personal History with Animals: -Growing up, we *always* had a full house of family pets! This typically included 3 dogs of all sizes and life stages, 1 cat and 3 horses, as well as sometimes other livestock such as cows. -I currently have two fur babies — my beloved 1-year-old indoor cats, Polka Dot and Gypsum. Since I adopted these sisters in July of 2024, I have loved putting my professional research skills to use to educate myself about how to give felines the best quality of life possible; I am an avid follower of cat behaviorist Jackson Galaxy and also Cat School (YouTube), and often love to read books or watch videos about cat behavior, care, and positive reinforcement training techniques in my free time. -Prior to my cats, my most recent pet was my bunny, Pixel, who lived a very happy life for nearly a decade. In high school, I worked as a groom for a horse trainer for three years. In college, I began house & pet sitting for people with cats, dogs, horses and chickens.
