Dogs have been part of my life since I was six years old, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I currently have a 14-year-old mini Husky/Shiba Inu mix and a 7-month-old Husky/Boxer mix puppy, so I have hands-on experience with both senior care and puppy training. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I’ve been dog walking and dog-sitting over the past two years for a variety of breeds, temperaments, and energy levels. From high-energy working breeds to gentle seniors, I understand that every dog has unique needs and routines. My background is in wildlife biology, where I specialized in animal behaviour. I naturally pay close attention to body language, stress signals, and subtle changes in behaviour. I believe calm energy, consistency, and clear communication help dogs feel secure — especially when their owners are away. Whether your dog loves structured walks, enrichment activities, or simply quiet companionship, I aim to provide thoughtful, attentive care tailored to their personality. I treat every dog as if they were my own — with patience, respect, and affection.

I am here to support your pet care needs and can be flexible with my service offerings. It's important that you feel safe when your pet is in my care and I will take whatever steps we deem necessary to ensure this. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I am comfortable: • Following detailed care instructions • Maintaining established feeding and walking routines • Administering oral medications • Caring for puppies and senior dogs I also provide regular photo and message updates so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. Lorina took great care of our fluffy boy Sampson, as well as our home! She kept us up to date via text and sent photos and videos. We told her she could bring her dogs to stay, both of which were very sweet and got along great with ours. We will certainly book Lorina again!

Schedule
I work from home so can spend most of the day with your pets! My schedule is flexible so I can likely adjust according to your dog's situation. At this time, I will only consider house-sits where I am able to bring along my puppy Reno (7 months old as of February). He is a very well-behaved, friendly puppy who absolutely loves being around other dogs! He hasn't met a dog that he doesn't like yet :). If your dog likes to play, then our pups will get along very well. He is also very respectful of dogs that do not want to play and will leave them alone if they indicate they are not interested (he gets lots of practice at this with his older sister). A meet and greet is a great way for us to see if our pets get along.
