Wether that be ensuring doors and gates stay closed, trash cans and food are properly secure, toys or bones are used with intention and caution, etc. I will make sure to get all of the info needed to know your pets unique needs, where your pet can/cannot go, and to supervise them at all times if they aren't okay to be alone.

A typical day
A day with your dog will always start with food, fresh air, and exercise! Whether that be a walk or playing fetch at the park/yard. My first priority is giving them lots of love and ensuring they have fun, while being safe. We will play games or I will entertain them with toys and time outside. If they have a special meal routine, I’ll be happy to go through that thoroughly.

Hi there! I’m Lórien, a devoted animal lover with 18 years of care taking experience for pets of all kinds. Animals have always been an important part of my life. As an equestrian and professional pet photographer (7 years working with horses and dogs specifically), I adore all of our four legged friends and feel very confident with them no matter the size! I also grew up with service dog, allowing me to develop a variety of invaluable skills including training, administering medication, grooming, behavioral understanding, etc. I’m able to read body language, recognizing signs of stress or illness, and handle emergency situations. I’ll take time to get to know your pets unique personality, needs, preferences, and interests so they have the most fun, stay safe, feeling perfectly cared for. You can rest assured I will love your pets like my own! Lastly, I offer overnight pet sitting services depending on the hours and location.

Lorien has always been a reliable caretaker of my pets, stepping in almost every time I go out of town. She's fed my fish, walked and played with my dog, and kept my kitten's space clean. She's responsible and genuinely likes to be with animals, and all my animals also like to be with her!

I have witnessed Lorien in action with numerous dogs of various breeds and temperaments, and I am always impressed by how naturally she is gifted when it comes to working with dogs. Her innate ability to understand and connect with dogs on a deep level is truly remarkable. My dog, in particular, struggles with submissive peeing, which is why he wears diapers and often develops diaper rash. Lorien was always diligent in applying ointment and ensuring his comfort. I highly recommend her!
Lorien stayed at my home for almost 2 whole weeks watching my dog Zeus. I have never had a better experience with a dog sitter. When I first met Lorien, she was so sweet and kind, I instantly felt that I could trust her in my home and with my baby! My dog instantly loved her! And dogs truly do feel energy so that says a lot. what I also appreciated was she also had the assertiveness to work with him. I have a big cane corso and he’s a bit of a hand full! I know with her background with horses, that probably helps a bit lol. Lorien kept my house spotless and my dog seemed happier when I came back than when I left! She sent pictures and communicated the entire time. She gave him his baths and went the extra mile with him everyday! I can’t say enough good things! 100% recommend and now Lorien still comes when ever I have to go out of town for work.
