Pet care experience

Your Pet’s New Favorite Visitor!

With 25 years of experience working with animals, including 20 years dedicated to animal welfare, I bring a lifetime of knowledge, compassion, and hands-on experience to caring for your pets. I have extensive experience working with fearful and anxious animals and am certified as a Fear Free Handler. I understand that every pet is different, and I take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. My experience goes beyond cats and dogs. I’m also comfortable caring for exotic pets, including reptiles and birds, and understand that these animals often have very specific routines and care requirements. I’m highly experienced in administering medications, including injectable, oral, ear, and eye medications. You can feel confident knowing that your pet’s routine and medical needs will be handled with the same care and attention you would provide yourself. I also understand that taking care of your home while you’re away can be just as important as caring for your pets. Houseplant care is available, so you can come home to happy, healthy plants along with happy, well-cared-for pets. Most importantly, I know how much your pets mean to you—because my pets are my world, too. Nothing means more to me than giving your pets the love, attention, and care they deserve while you’re away. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing they are safe, happy, and in loving hands.

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

The safety and well-being of your pets is always my top priority. Whether I’m caring for an animal in my home or visiting your home, I treat every pet with patience, kindness, and respect. I understand that every animal is different, and I take the time to learn their routines, personalities, and comfort levels so they feel safe and cared for. Caring for animals is something I’m deeply passionate about. I truly love every interaction I have with an animal—even if that interaction is simply sitting nearby and talking to them. I believe those little moments matter. Nothing brings me more joy than being surrounded by animals and having the opportunity to care for them. When your pets are in my care, I want them to feel comfortable, loved, and secure, while you have peace of mind knowing they’re being treated like family.

Schedule

I do work full-time for an animal welfare organization, but caring for animals is more than just my job—it’s what I love. Your pets will always be a priority when they’re in my care. I’m able to schedule drop-in visits before and after my workday, as well as on my days off. I’m committed to working with you to find a schedule that fits your pet’s needs and routine. My goal is to make sure your pets receive the attention, care, and companionship they need while you’re away, giving you peace of mind that they’re in good hands.

The most important thing I want to know about your pet is what makes them feel afraid, uncomfortable, or stressed. I have years of experience reading animal body language and recognizing the subtle signs that tell me when an animal is comfortable, relaxed, or starting to feel uneasy. Of course, I also want to know what they love, what makes them excited, what helps them relax, and all the little things that make them uniquely them. Knowing their triggers and preferences helps me create a visit where they feel safe and respected. You know your pet best, so I want to learn from you and then let them show me the rest—at their own pace and in their own way.
