I recently resigned from working in a local school district and am now concentrating on volunteering in an animal shelter, an abused women's shelter, writing a book, visiting the gym daily and hopefully having the pleasure of taking care of many animals on Rover! I am presently fostering animals with positive thoughts they will find their forever homes soon!

I treat my pets like they are one of the family. They are loved and adored. I recently lost my two cats, litter mates, one at 18 years old and one at 19 1/2 years old. They received had only the best diets, received the best medical care, and got all my attention. They were my babies. I would love to give your pet the best care ever as well!! I hope to get another pet soon in my home, after a bit of healing time.

If your pet has any special needs or is recovering from surgery, I will want to know ahead of time so I can be prepared. I have vast experience with specials needs of all kinds since i have volunteered in shelters for years. l have been taught by the best veteranarians, and behaviour specialists. If the animal is shy, and preferz to just do their thing, that's okay too. I will do whatever it takes to make your pet feel comfortable while its owner is away.
A typical day
It depends on the animal, you have to read the room. Some animals are shy and you need to treat them gingerly, making sure their needs are met, and slowly attempting to gain their trust. With kitties, I have won them over with lickables, and a laser pointer! With dogs, some love rough and tumble, others love a quick paced walk, while others love to just snuggle on the couch,

I have never lived without an animal in my home as a child or as an adult. Animals are true members of the family. I have volunteered in animal shelters for many years, and still continue to do so. Therefore, I have experience with all ages, including seniors, administering medications and general care and socialization, and more importantly know how to calm and make an animal feel safe and at ease. I will love your pet, send photos, and take as much time as needed to be sure his/her needs are met.

Lori is our go-to cat sitter whenever we need one! We have 3 cats and she happily takes care of them when we go away. Our cats know her well and are so happy to see her arrive since she is sure to love them up and give them hugs and treats. She is the best at communicating how they are doing and sends many photos. She doesn't rush through her visit, she sincerely loves the cats and it is obvious she cares deeply about each one of them. I would not hesitate to recommend her for any "catsitting" need.
While I was the Director of Happy Tails, Lori volunteered in our Plaistow location. She was not only super reliable and conscientious, but she sincerely loved the kitties. She was responsible for a weekly shift and never missed a beat. She would clean cages, empty litter boxes, and change the water and feed bowls. She is fastidious and always paid attention to detail. She also played with each and every cat/kitten and made sure they felt loved and secure. She administered meds if needed, and handled all ages, seniors and kittens alike. She was also responsible for our Meet and Greet program which matches cats/kittens with potential adoptees. She always had the animals in their best interest and made sure they would live happily ever after. You will not find a more compassionate person -- she truly is not happy unless she is helping animals!
Lori has taken care of our 2 cats for us when we go out of town. She is nothing but professional and loving. She takes her time and makes sure we get many pictures during her visit. We have two 19 years old cats, in which she has to administer diabetic meds and hypothyroid meds and she handles them with ease. I wouldn't have anyone else take care of our babies!
Lori is so caring, detail-oriented, and professional. I think our Lady Rosemary prefers her to us! Your pet is in very safe hands with her.
