Experienced dog & cat sitter
In 2015 I started volunteering as a dog walker at Wisconsin Humane Society, I wanted to learn & do more, so I took an opportunity in Veterinary Services, working with the intake animals, in addition to volunteering for Pets for Life, a community outreach program. I received training in behavior & first aid, including the administration of medications, special diets, subcutaneous fluids, and other treatments, I gained invaluable hands on experience handling hundreds of dogs & cats. in 2018 I was motivated to leave my job in social services and start pet sitting & dog walking full time. I wanted to take my experience in human health care and highlight the importance of compassion, specialized training, accountability and certification, and apply it to taking care of pets. I am certified in animal behavior, first aid and CPR. All exercise, training and care are delivered with the philosophy of positive reinforcement. I am passionate about rescue, and volunteer for 2 organizations very close to my heart! Friends of MADACC & Urban Cat Coalition. I am mom to Aria and my fur kids, Cooper, Atticus, Chaos, Rascal, Dahlia, and Brewster.

It’s always hard leaving your pet whenever you go out of Town but having Lori be able to check on my cat made everything less stressful. She’s awesome, super knowledgeable about pets and takes care of pets like they are her own. Such an awesome experience and it’s great to know that my cat was in good hands. Would definitely recommend!

Thank you Lori! My dogs, Mimi and Mr. Peabody loved being walked by you! My in-laws, who were staying with the dogs at my house were so happy to have you walk them twice a day. I loved getting the updates and the photos. We have never used a service before and we will definitely be asking for Lori again next time. I got home last night and today, both dogs were looking for Lori at the door at 9:30am and about 3:30pm....I am quite certain that they were disappointed that today I was their person! I had to give them extra treats just to leash up to go walking with me!!! Lori, you are so personable, sent me such nice messages, were timely, kind to my dogs and my in-laws. I am so grateful!!! I contacted Lori on pretty short notice. I had an unexpected event and needed to book a walk for my dog. Lori was quick to respond, and she arrived for the walk when she had planned. She shared pictures that showed how happy my Drax was (I was worried about leaving him alone all day) and gave him the treat I had left out for him. I'd totally recommend her, and I'm sure Drax would, too!
