As a reliable pet sitter, I love keeping your pets happy, active, and engaged. Whether it’s long walks, a game of fetch, or a lively round of tug-of-war, I make sure they get the exercise and stimulation they need. Between playtime, your pet will enjoy plenty of affection, belly rubs, and cozy snuggles. For cats, I bring out the fun with feather toys, laser pointers, and interactive play. And for those who prefer a quieter pace, I’m just as happy to slow things down with treats, gentle attention, and calm companionship. There will also be pictures and videos of all the antics along the way.

I prefer to know in advance whether pets have special needs, injuries, health conditions, or behavioral traits such as aggression or "stranger danger." Meet-and-greets are a very important time to understand and gain insight into anything special I need to be aware of. I also like to know whether your pet has any specific dietary needs and prescription medications. I know from personal experience how important this is and always try to provide as much information as I can when I need a personal sitter. When taking walks or being active, I like to know how far we should walk to avoid overworking them.
A typical day
Catnip for kitties, a ball or stick for the dogs. I truly enjoy helping pets stay happy and engaged while you are away. I tailor activities to each pet’s personality and routine—whether a neighborhood walk, playtime with their favorite feather toy, or interactive games to keep their minds stimulated. For pets that enjoy being outside, we can explore a local park or take a gentle hike. For pets who prefer a quieter pace, I’m also happy to provide lots of talks, cuddles, brushing, and quiet companionship. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and enjoyable experience every day.

Pet care experience
I have had a passion for animals my entire life. I have had fish, a bird, a gecko, cats, dogs, and jumping spiders. I also currently feed multiple feral cats on my property daily. I can't imagine life without the love and companionship that all animals bring. I am attentive, detail-oriented, and will make sure your pets are cared for to the same standard you would. I can administer some medications and have experience with senior pets with special needs. My main goal is to provide the best possible care for your pet, tailored to your needs.

Lori is fantastic! Both knowledgeable and empathetic, Malaika took her to her right away and I have to say the affection was mutual. I could tell Lori really liked my girl! Lori also took the initiative to water my plants, keeping them alive in this horrible heat wave. I sure appreciated her consideration! As you can tell, I highly recommend Lori!
Lori went above and beyond for my elderly dog who had a hard time being alone and using a dog door for an extended time, especially in the dark. Lori provided her own puppy pads for him as soon as she noticed he’d had an accident. She also brought in our Chewy package which was so heavy that she had to unpack each item to get it all inside. Lori left thorough reports of her visits each day and even stopped by a couple extra times between her scheduled visits because she cares so much about how he’s doing. I’ve hired many pet sitters over the years and Lori is truly the best there is. Highly highly highly recommend to anyone!
Lori did an excellent job of keeping me informed about how my 9 year old lab/ husky mix was doing during my absence. The long walks and individual attention really helped my dog adjust to my absence. She was calm and happy upon my return. I will definitely use Lori again.
We loved Lori! She was so wonderful to work with. I felt like my pets were safe and loved while I was away. She also goes above and beyond in ways that would only spoil the joy you’ll feel when you see it for yourself if I shared!! Seriously, book with her and see for yourself! 10/10 will be using again.
