I love dogs and all of their unique personalities. I will make sure your furbaby gets adequate exercise and is content. They are sure to be happy and ready for snuggles after walking or running outside. I give the doggos belly rubs and lots of love. If it’s your first time leaving your little one, I totally understand how stressful it can be. Before booking, we can text, have a voice call, or even set up a meet n’ greet. It’s up to you! During the booking I send photos every day or two (if desired), and of course you can text or call if you’d like to check how it’s going. My specialty is athletic dogs because I ensure they get their daily run. But if you have more of a couch potato, don’t worry! Running is optional, and they can loaf around or sunbathe while the runners chase to their heart’s content. My own dog gets anxious without his hoomans, so I understand if yours misses you. I will do everything I can to help your doggie feel at ease. They can even grab a spot beside me on my bed for a calming sleep at their home away from home. Fun fact: I’ve been told my pet photos are top notch!

Lori took excellent care of our doodle Arlo. She took care of him for 8 days while our family was on a cruise. She was so accommodating, especially when our flight returning home was delayed. I received so many pictures of their daily walks and activities. Lori is a sweetheart and you can truly see how much she adores being a caregiver. I will use her services from here on out. Lori was amazing. I've never left Duke with a sitter outside the family before and she made everything so easy. She kept me updated on how he was doing and sent beautiful photos of him. I had another sitter here who canceled juts days before, and Lori not only stepped in close to the date but was especially accommodating for what I needed. Definitely will use her again, and strongly recommend her to others.
Took great care of our Pup!
This was the 1st time we had our dog stay with Lori and it was a great experience. She was easy to work with and our dog was well taken care of. We will certainly use Lori in the future to take care of our sweet puppy.

Schedule
I am employed full time, but I work from home four days/week. So most of the time I am home caring for your furbaby and mine! Our usual routine is to go for an early morning drive in my SUV up to the park for off-leash playtime (in a sizable fenced area) where the dogs can run, walk, or explore. Sometimes we continue our outing with a leash walk on the many pathways there. Next it’s home for water, and after that’s settled, breakfast. Naps are usually next, and of course there are ropes, balls, and toys to play with. After their pm meal, we go for another walk before turning in for the night.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a friendly German Shorthaired Pointer, and a large green space beside our building. The dogs can easily go out for pee-breaks beside my ground-floor patio. The doggies love monitoring the squirrels, bunnies and resident ground hog who live in the grassy field and trees beside the patio. Rest assured, I always keep them on a leash or a staked-in lead if we are in an unfenced area. There’s a fenced dog park we can walk to for off-leash fun. We usually have it to ourselves but I monitor closely if there’s another furry friend already playing. We also regularly go to the nearby school grounds for a change of scenery. When it’s time to eat, I separate your furbaby from mine so they get all their nutrition they need without any unintended sharing! I also have water bowls in different areas, encouraging hydration. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and bed. I have steps going up to my bed to make it easy for them if they don’t have much of a spring in their step. Or they can choose a spot on the carpet or dog bed beside my bed. I will care for your furry friend like my own and make sure they’re comfy.

A typical day
I will take your dog to the park and let them stop and smell all the smells. I believe the mental stimulation is just as important as the physical exercise. We will work on skills like sit, stay, and fetch. I really enjoy photography and I always try to get a few good photos to send you. In the winter we walk on the beach. It seems to me that dogs also like to feel the sand between their toes.
