I really enjoy getting to have new pet friends! I have taken care of all sorts of animals--dogs, cats, birds, lizards, hamsters, bunnies, horses, pigs, goats, chickens and even cows! I feel comfortable with pets who have medical issues, as well. I also have done a fair amount of pet massages for dogs and cats (not lizards, though!!)

I have done all levels of pet care-from simple one hour drop-in visits for cats to feeding and cleaning up for horses and cows (extra fee for that!!) So, I am very versatile with my clients! I also find that I bond easily with pets, and can often connect to shy or nervous cats and dogs by being present, calm and talking to them. I also know to leave someone alone when they just don't want to connect. I usually do lots of walks and playing together as well as simply sitting and petting and offering yummy treats!

We never worry when Lori is caring for our two chihuahuas and cat. We have used Lori's services through Rover for several years. She does a stellar job. Our pets are well cared for and our house clean upon our return. She consistently goes above and beyond. Lori is a gem and our pups adore her. We highly recommend her.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lori! She took care of my sweet Koda while we were celebrating my son and daughter-in-law’s rehearsal dinner and wedding, and she was truly such a blessing to us. Koda can be a little unsure and standoffish when he first meets someone new, but Lori knew exactly how to approach him. She didn’t force a connection…she patiently allowed Koda to come to her, earn his trust, and build a relationship with him. Watching the way she interacted with him honestly taught me how to be an even better dog mom to my little guy. She has such a calm, loving, and intuitive way with animals. By the time we were ready to leave, Koda had made a new best friend! And when we came home from the rehearsal dinner, he didn’t even want Lori to leave. That right there told me everything I needed to know. ❤️ Not only did Koda gain someone special, but so did we. Finding someone you completely trust with your fur baby is priceless, and I have that with Lori. She will forever be Koda’s caregiver anytime I need to be away from him. Thank you, Lori, for loving Koda like he was your own. We are so grateful for you!
Lori did a great a job with our dog. She was punctual with her visit as per the time we requested and was very generous with her time. We loved the photos she sent and communication regarding her visit. Will definitely trust her with our dog again!
Lori took great care of our pets while we were traveling. She was very attentive to their needs. She is knowledgeable about animals as well as there special needs.

Lori came to look after my two dogs on New Year’s Day. She helped us out last minute and was wonderful with both of our pups. Would definitely recommend and will contact her again in the future!

Schedule
I have an online business, so I usually housesit and work part-time online. This makes it very easy for me to be in a home with pets who need more attention, or dogs that need walked often.
- Cats0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbs41 to 100 lbsLori can host up to 2 drop-ins per day
- I have experience with pets who have medical issues and/or need daily medicine and I have done end-of-life care. I also have a lot of experience with shelter dogs and cats that have had trauma in their life-I try to provide lots of calm and happy interactions. I work to create a safe energy to help them be less nervous or scared. The two situations I DO NOT work with are aggressive dogs or familys that have 4 or more dogs.
