Loving empty nesters
We're recent empty nesters looking to share our love with a furry friend. Our family dog passed away recently, leaving a real hole in our hearts, and with our kids off at college, my husband and I miss having that companionship at home. I've cared for animals my whole life, most recently our family Maltipoo, who was with us for eight years. She needed a bit of extra care along the way — including knee surgery on both rear legs for a luxating patella, and extra attention after she went blind in her final year. That experience taught me a lot about patience and hands-on care, and I'd welcome a dog who needs some extra love, whether or not they come with special needs.

Lori is very organized and communicative, and she really is an amazing pet caregiver! She has a big heart and loves pets, and she will make sure your pet is clean, fed, and cared for.
She is a great person and caregiver to all the pets she has ever had. She makes sure to always pay attention and read all directions properly. She is very organized and is loving towards all of the furry friends she is taking care of. Great person to be responsible for your pet.

Schedule
I work from home, so your dog would never be left alone for long stretches — I have plenty of time for walks, play, and simply being present.
Where your pet will stay
Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Being we live in an area with coyotes and other wild animals, I would never leave your dog outside alone and would always have them with me on a leash including at the local park. With no kids, I will make sure there is nothing they can get into or find to chew on in the home.
A typical day
I will be happy to take your dog on walks and check out our local park. I will explore what in-house games your dog enjoys such as tug of war, peek-a-boo or fetch.
