I open my heart to all pets!
The love I have for animals began when I was a child. Our family had every pet you could think of growing up as my mother was an avid pet lover! I have been pet sitting for people for 25 years and I specialize in caring for senior pets that have special needs. I have been a volunteer at a local animal shelter, Lollypop Farm, for more than 20 years. I have also taken a pet CPR class and am certified. People often tell me that I have a wonderful way with animals and that they can see how I love and respect them! Nearly 30 years ago my sister and I started working as a pet sitters after we were routinely asked if we would consider pet care for our friends when they saw how good we were with their dogs & cats & small animals. We decided to care for many pets in their homes while their owners were away, and they felt so at ease and comfortable knowing we were with them giving their furry friends lots of love and attention. I love meeting new four-legged friends and it’s a privilege to be asked to return time and time again. My sister has since moved out of state, but I haven’t stopped caring for people’s pets.I have cared for countless rabbits, Guinea pigs, birds, dogs, cats, fish, to name a few for friends, coworkers, neighbors … It makes my heart so happy to devote my time & attention to them while I can ❤️ I give lots of tender loving care and I have a lot of love & compassion towards them I truly enjoy being with animals, they are all special ❤️ I also like to garden, spend time with family or friends and look at nature.I live alone in a townhouse I have a nice, grassy yard and plenty of sidewalks for strolling . ( I even have a pet stroller for seniors) My parents also live nearby and they are so happy to meet my furry friends. During the weekends I am home & evenings and while I’m working during the week I am able to come home for a lunch check so your pet will never feel lonely! I can also take dog 1/2 day in my office at work 7 minutes away. I have been truly blessed all these years! I have no pets of my own currently so I love loving your babies all the more ❤️

Lori is the absolute best!! Winnie just finished her second stay and it was a long one…10 days! Not once were we worried. Lori contacted us twice a day with an update/photos and they radiated not only how well Winnie was being taken care of but how much love she was feeling! Lori provides top-notch, high quality care. We will never send Winnie anywhere else!! It is a blessing to have found her and to be able to go away without worrying!!
After an unsuccessful kennel stay, I decided to look at Rover. I read Lori’s information and reviews and was very impressed. We did a meet and greet and I found Lori to be so kind and genuine towards Winnie. I decided to set up a short one night visit before sending Winnie for a longer stay. I could not be happier about how well the visit went. Lori spent the entire time making Winnie feel safe and loved. They did all of Winnie’s favorite things that she loves to do at home. Lori sent many texts and photos. I could not have asked for better care! My husband and I both felt like Winnie gave us the “ how come your back so soon” look when we picked her up. Winnie is all signed up for her next stay (10 days) and we are totally confident she will have an awesome time and that we will be able to relax while we are away!!
Every contact with Lori was positive, she sent pictures and followed through with all communications. Apparently our Sonoma connected quickly with Lori and as a discerning cat, judged her to be worthy of head bumps and affection!

Schedule
I’m currently working full time able to come home at lunch & occasionally bring dog to my office. I actually love caring for pets & look forward to meeting & making new furry friends, they are all special to me!

I have plenty of room in my townhouse & nice yard around me.We have a nice quiet neighborhood and plenty of sidewalks to walk & sniff things along the way!
A typical day
Weekends I am home so my schedule is flexible and open to afford for walks, playtime or just lounging. I work during the week so I am home at lunchtime so your pup will never be alone for long & I also can bring dog 1/2 in my office at work Im on a quiet street in my townhouse complex where we can wander around and they can sniff things out. -- and my parents live nearby and are happy to have visitors in their big backyard. If the pet parents don’t mind I love to take dogs to various local parks & the perinton rec center new places to see & smell… I have a dog bed in my back seat with a seatbelt..

- I would like to know as much as possible about your pet so I that can customize each pup’s stay accordingly. The more I know, the better care I can give and I want each animal to feel safe, secure and loved while their family is away. I have a lot of experience caring for all types of dogs, and I am particularly fond of caring for senior dogs. I like to keep pup’s on their usual schedule and daily routine, so it’s good to know what they are used to on a day-to-day basis. I keep in touch with owners during the stay through texts and photos so that you can be assured all is well while you’re away from your furry friend. This includes cat care & their routine …
