I recently retired from a career in teaching special education students. I have a husband who is willing to allow me to leave a week or so here and there, so I can house and pet-sit at this time if you're going on vacation. My schedule is open right now.

I love to walk and hike. If your pet likes to go for walks, that is something that we will do daily, a few times a day, depending on weather. I play with animals, tug of war and fetch, and petting is essential. Pets require lots of love and attention in order to be healthy and happy.

Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm in Indiana. Animals have been a part of my life since I learned to walk. I have cared for animals, traveled with animals, and loved animals throughout my lifetime. I have potty-trained puppies for friends, and I have dog-sat, along with some exotic animal sitting, many times over my years. I have also cared for my aging pets as they transitioned from life.

Lori has been great with my dog, Oshie! She’s followed all of my instructions to a T. I’ve hired her multiple times to walk my dog, and there’s never been an issue. 10/10 would recommend!
Lorie is the best pet owner and dog person I know. She watched couple of my dogs in the past. She took such good care of them, letting me know everyday how they were doing. She gave them structure and so much love and care that I always felt at ease knowing that they were in such good care while I was away. I cannot recommend her enough to take care of your furry babies. They will be happy and very well taken care of!
Lori is wonder with animals. Having grown up on a farm she has knowledge of how to care for and work with a variety of different animals. She is patient, loving and attentive. She watched my dog while I was away for a few months, and he was so excited every time he got to see her again after that. I always feel at peace knowing that he is being so well cared for and loved while I’m away and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable pet sitter.
