I’ve had dogs my entire life and have volunteered and fostered with a local dog rescue for almost ten years. We have a 14 lb Shih Tzu mix that loves playing with other dogs. Rather than adopting a second dog, I’d like to provide care for other dogs. I know how stressful finding the right person to care for your dogs is and I was fortunate enough to find someone that I love to sit for my dog. I’d like to pay it forward and my dog Archie can’t wait to play. At this time I’d prefer to take small dogs under 25 pounds but will take larger dogs on a case by case basis. All dogs must be house trained, crate trained, and vaccinated.

Lori was everything we could have asked for in a dog sitter and more. Our dog was SO comfortable and at ease in her home and had so much fun during his stay. She sent us so many pictures and videos and kept us updated the entire stay. It was seriously so nice knowing he was in such great care. Cannot recommend Lori enough!!

Lori is wonderful with dogs. She has fostered many dogs over the past few years and knows how to handle dogs with different personalities. She is patient and loving. She has a beautiful and clean home that any dog would be lucky to stay in.

Lori would make a great pet sitter. She's been around dogs and cats for the majority of her life. She's kind and very patient with animals. She takes her dog on walks daily and encourages him to interact with other dogs. She has a backyard where her dog runs and plays. Feel free to leave your dog with Lori while you're on vacation or just need a day off. She's the best!

Schedule
I work from home and my fiancé works from home most days of the week. The only time your dog would be alone is when we run errands.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced in yard (fairly large for the Heights) and a 3 bedroom house. I take my dog on walks early and late in the day to avoid the heat.
Pets
A typical day
Your dog will be let outside every one to two hours, and we will go on walks in the morning and evening if the temperature allows. If your dog loves to play, this is the house for you. My dog can’t get enough. But don’t worry, he is gentle, and knows when to stop.
