I had a cocker spaniel from 6 weeks old. She passed away just after the age of 12 & was in congestive heart failure at the end, so I am used to dealing with meds and special needs dogs. Also, my schnauzer recently passed. While my heart is heavy and not ready for another for myself, loving on your fur babies is healing for me. We loved going to the dog park & taking walks (when weather permitted) and I am very loving and cuddly with the dogs in my home. I am currently available all day. Please bring your pet with a leash and any special toys, food bowls, and a crate. I do require a meet & greet to make sure everyone is compatible and comfortable in my home. Also please have your dog's nails trimmed and make sure your pet has been bathed prior to their stay. I have a yard that is .25 acres, but the back yard is fully fenced in. The fence is 5 feet tall. I also have a doggy door to give them access to the back yard as needed. I do have stairs & hardwood floors upstairs, but I additionally have extra rugs for dogs that may not be used to hardwoods.

Lori was great with Maya. She kept us updated even though we were several time zones away with limited phone/Internet access. Maya got a little sick at the beginning of her stay and Lori was very reassuring that she would be fine. I put her touch with my emergency pet contact to discuss the issue since I couldn't be reached by phone. Maya's issue cleared up quickly and every morning after that I got a prompt update on how Maya's night had been. Even though I was worried about my little girl, I really felt confident in Lori's handle on the situation. Would 150% use Lori again and would recommend her to anyone!

Lori was great! She sent lots of pics and videos of Sammy while we were gone. She has a great fenced in back yard for dogs. Sammy seemed to enjoy his time!
Lori was wonderful! She kept us very updated on the day to day lives of our pets and was very attentive to taking care of them during the heat wave. We came home to happy pets :)
Lori’s the real deal. Our family appreciates her endlessly! Beans loves going to her house :)

I am currently home all day and available. I can also do overnights. I used to travel for work, so I understand the need for consistency with your pet.

Pets are allowed on the FURniture here, but I respect the owner's preferences for uniformity. I have multiple pet beds and toys. I also crate pets when needed.
A typical day
I always try to take walks in the mornings or evenings once the temps cool down. There is a lake and several walking trails nearby. I also have the fenced in back yard for them to run around and play.
