We have been dog owners for 20 years. ALL of our friends and family joke that we should open a professional dog boarding business because we are always watching people’s dogs. They trust us because we always make the dog feel like they are at home. Lots of attention, walks (if they like walks), cuddles, free roam of the house and fenced yard, treats and lots of toys to keep them entertained. We have watched dogs that need medication or special diet as well. We have a 25lb mixed breed rescue named Zoe that gets along with all dogs. You don’t have to worry about leaving your dog with us. You’ll get lots of pics (if you like) and updates. Just don’t be surprised when they are excited to come back!

Lori and Guillermo are the best dogsitters! They've watched our dog Roxie a few times now when we've gone on vacation, and it's clear that they love her as much as we do. They're great at communicating and providing updates, and we can tell when we pick her up that she's had a fabulous time!
Excellent care for our dog! We appreciate the photos. This is a return booking and our dog was eager to go inside when the dog was answered- she was happy to be there.
Lori and Will took great care of Maclin and provided daily updates with pictures. Maclin became lonesome and they took him with on their outings.

Roxie had a great stay with Lori & Guillermo! They are so warm and welcoming, and treated Roxie like she was part of their family. They sent lots of pictures and we could tell she was having a great time. Will definitely use them again next time we go on vacation.
Lori has been great with my dog Zoe. Zoe is 10months old & has separation anxiety & I felt at ease knowing they let her sleep in their bed so she wouldn't be crying at night. I trust when I leave my furry baby there that she will be looked after. Zoe loves their dog Winnie & is so excited to see her!

Schedule
My husband and I both have flexible jobs and work from home. So we are able to take breaks, give a dog attention they need any time during the day. Our dog is usually on the couch in my office or in the recliner chair in my husband’s office during the day and we give a lot of attention.

A typical day
We have a nice walking path in our neighborhood as well as a forest preserve trail within 5 minutes that we love to walk. We have lots of toys and a big yard for playing catch or fetch!
