My husband works from home always. Me and the kids are home when school is out. For home visits, weekends or holidays are best. Any dog that comes here is just part of the family. We love to spoil them with play and love.

We make sure the dog is supervised at all times. We will follow any medication and food directions. We have a safe and secure backyard, but they stay inside all day unless they have to potty. We will give them lots of love and attention. If I come to your home I will make sure to leave it the way you left it. I will only do what you ask of me. The dogs will be loved to make them not so sad you are gone. In Our home they are allowed wherever they are comfortable as long as they are destructive or loud.

Please let me know if you dog requires any special care or medications. Also we would love to know if they are vaccinated and have flea preventative. Ours are fully covered in all areas. I would like to know if they aren’t friendly with cats so we can separate them. Most owners who say they don’t know meet our cats and the cats could care less. They are in/outdoor. Also we will not watch any male dogs who hike their leg and pee on our furniture….this has happened a few times and not worth it. That’s a big one. We also do not watch dogs who keep us up all night whining or barking. We all have to work and get our sleep.
A typical day
We also like to allow them to play in and outside of the house. Most dogs love belly rubs and for us to be silly with them. Some like to play fetch and we have tons of toys! And for those low key dogs they can just chill on or off the couch while watching tv. I do have bad shoulders so I can’t walk dogs who pull. If they need exercise they will get if from wrestling in or out of the house..but only in the backyard. I don’t want to risk a dog getting loose in the front yard.

I love that doing this is my second job. I’ve been a teacher since I graduate A&M and have so much fun meeting new people and new animals! I love fostering, pet sitting, volunteering, and just playing with animals! I am a teacher, so I’m off when schools out. I love kids and pets… obviously. We got Roxy certified to be a therapy dog and we go to nursing homes on the weekends. It’s a lot of fun! We have had so many different animals! At one time we had 13(not including our fish tanks). We have had parakeets, ducks, hedgehogs, hamsters, ferrets, rats, gerbils, fish, cats, dogs, pig, sugar glider, snake, chinchilla, ..and I’m sure more that I can’t think of right now. We have pet sit before for family, friends, and even people on FB. We enjoy it so much and honestly give the animal/s so much attention. When they stay with us they have free range of our house and stay inside except for bathroom brakes(which won’t be but 5-10 because of the heat most of the time). We have lived in this house 18 years. My husband works from home so when I’m working he’s here. My two girls absolutely love when we get to petsit. They do their own thing but do give love if the pet wants it. If animals don’t mesh with ours we have no issue separating them, we put ours up so your dog is comfortable. Our dogs are very happy, playful, submissive, and cuddly. They love new dog friends! We are happy to accommodate for your animal if they aren't allowed on furniture, need medications, want their bed, etc. We will make them feel as comfortable as possible. Bring whatever supplies you like(toys, bed(but we have 4), treats, crate) Having another dog here is a treat for us and our family. Our two daughters are obsessed with animals and are kind and gentle with them. We are open to taking care of other animals(Guinea pigs, snakes, lizards, etc) Message me!
