Throughout my life, I've owned many breeds of dogs. In childhood, I nurtured and cared for many stray dogs that my father, a postman, brought home. Throughout adulthood, I owned pure bred dogs, like Brandy, a Doberman, and Goldie, a Yellow Lab. Bengie, my Yokie-Terrier mix, was a rescue dog from the animal shelter. To me, my pets were treated like a part of the family. They received love, security, and care to meet all of their needs and more.
