I am active and enjoy getting outside so your pets will get the exercise and attention they need, balanced with companionship while you are away.

Pet care experience

I've been around animals my entire life, growing up on a farm caring for them was part of my daily routine. In addition, I volunteer at shelters and have experience fostering both dogs and cats as well as watching family and friend's animals when they are away. I do not currently work outside of the home, so I have a flexible schedule and time to dedicate to animal care, including walks, drop-ins and overnight stays. I enjoy spending time with animals and will provide them with lots of attention and companionship. We currently have three dogs and a cat of our own, so caring for animals is truly part of my everyday life. One of my dogs is reactive, which has given me firsthand experience in understanding triggers, reading body language, and creating a calm, structured environment to help them feel safe. I'm mindful with boundaries, slow introductions and importance of routine for dogs who need a little more support.
