Reliable friend for your pet
I have dog sat numerous times over the years to back up my sister when she was not available. In addition to caring for the pets, I have retrieved mail, newspapers, watered: lawns, flower beds, potted plants and houseplants. I turn lights on, and the TV for your pet. I love spending time with pets and would play with your pet and look after it as it was my own.

I can easily drop in feed your dog & take it for a short walk. I can also have the TV on and a light if needed. I live in an apartment with my 10 year-old golden doodle however, due to my lease agreement, I am unable to care for your pet in my home or stay overnight in your home to care for your pet. I do not have a yard but open to taking your pet to the dog park, if they need to run, play and socialize with other dogs.

I’ve known Lori for over 10 years, and I can honestly say she is one of the kindest, most compassionate, and dependable people I’ve ever met. We met while working together in healthcare, where I saw firsthand how dedicated she was to caring for and advocating for her patients. She always went above and beyond, and that same level of compassion carries over into the way she cares for animals. Even though I didn’t have pets of my own for Lori to watch, she introduced me to her rescue dog, Zowie. It was immediately clear how deeply she loved and cared for her. Zowie wasn’t just a pet—she was family. Seeing their bond left no doubt in my mind that Lori would treat every animal with that same love and respect. One of the things that stands out most to me is when a friend of mine had a very sick cat. Lori had never even met my friend, but she took the initiative to connect her with an organization that could help. Thanks to Lori’s compassion and determination, my friend’s cat got the care it needed and survived. She simply couldn’t stand by when an animal needed help. Lori is incredibly reliable, trustworthy, patient, and gentle. She has a genuine love for animals, and it shows in everything she does. If I had pets of my own, I wouldn’t hesitate to trust them with her. I recommend Lori without reservation to anyone looking for someone who will care for their pets as if they were her own.

Zeitplan
I currently work full-time Monday through Wednesday and would be available to drop in to care for your pet Thursday through Sunday. I prefer a meet and greet ahead of time to make sure I am a good fit for your pet, however it’s not required if you are in a bind.
