I want to know the do's & don'ts of caring for your dog. What is your dog afraid of? (Certain types of people, objects, etc.). What are their favorite activities, toys and/or treats. Where do they prefer to sleep? (Crate, on the floor or at the foot of a bed). Do they enjoy human contact such as petting & having their belly rubbed). How long have you owned the dog & was it a rescue dog or not? Has your dog had all of their vaccinations, including Bordetella ? Have they had their monthly flea & tick and heart-worm treatments? Do they have any anxiety issues when you are gone or they are left some in the house? Are they completely potty trained? Have they been socialized with other dogs? Have they been bathed or groomed within the last two weeks?
A typical day
Dogs love to play & interact with people & other dogs. We like to play fetch, tug of war & go on 1-2 daily walks for at least 20-30 mins. each. I enjoy giving healthy snacks in between regular meals, if that is ok with the owners. I also will spend time brushing your dog during our relaxation & down time!

Pet care experience
My earliest childhood memories include my first dog which was a Collie named "Princess!" From that time on, I have always had a beloved dog as my constant pet & furry friend. I enjoy caring & opening my heart to animals because they have given me & my family so much love & affection over the years. They truly have all become a special part of our family. These are the different breeds that I have cared for over the years: Poodle, English Sheepdog, Labrador Retriever, Cocker Spaniel, Shig Itzu & now I have a Labradoodle named Sophie. We would love to open our hearts & home up to your special furry friend and give them the same love that you would want for them!

Lori was amazing! We are visiting from Indiana for a month and we needed a sitter for our blind dog. Lori came to meet us and was so sweet. If our dog could talk, I’m sure he would say how much he enjoyed Lori sitting with him. Thank you, Lori! You are the sweetest!
Francesca was in great hands with Lori! Lori is kind and very caring and conscientious. She asked great questions to make everything go more smoothly and to get to know Francesca’s habits. She even went out of her way to buy more treats when they got low and recommended add ins to her food when Francesca wasn’t eating so much. She communicated often with photos and updates, which we greatly appreciated! We felt very comfortable leaving our pup with Lori and will definitely ask her to dog sit again😍
Lori was absolutely amazing with the girls. She was responsive, kind, attentive, and treated Winnie and Lola like they were her own. She sent photos and updates daily and even rearranged her own sleeping arrangement to be sure the girls were able to sleep with her comfortably. I am very nervous about leaving the dogs and Lori was very patient with us and accommodating offering meet and greets and even offered to come to us and the girls absolutely loved their time with her. I can’t thank Lori enough for opening her home up to my babies. The girls can’t wait to go back and stay with Lori!
