Hi there! 👋🏼 I'm Loretta, a devoted dog lover eager to care for your furry friend! I've spent countless hours/days watching friends' and neighbors’ furry companions, and i’ve enjoyed every minute of it. Given my decade+ years of experience in 4-H/FFA raising livestock in the Central Valley, I’ve always had a natural connection with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages. Now that I’m living in SF, I’m ready to take your pup on various adventures across the Bay Area —whether that means long walks in Golden Gate Park, hikes up Mount Tam or playing catch at Ocean Beach, I’m up for it all! You can expect regular updates & photos from me to ensure you that your pup is in enjoying life while in my care. Plus, my partner of 10 years is a fellow dog lover, so I can guarantee that your pup will be showered with all the cuddles and belly scratches they desire and deserve. 🐾

Loretta was a wonderful knowledgeable caretaker for my pit mix. She clearly has a lot of dog watching experience and was so comfortable and excited to hang out with my pup all weekend. Her home was spacious for my dog to have plenty of room to romp around and find sun beams to nap in all day. Communication was great from scheduling an initial meeting to sending great updates and photos during her stay. Would highly recommend and definitely will book a boarding with her again!

Loretta has an aura that dogs LOVE to be around. She is a fantastic dog sitter who will take special care of your dog and spoil them like one of her own. She has a genuine love for animals that will show within minutes of her being with them.
Loretta, has been one of the most loving and caring companion to my dog Calvin. I can always count on her to go out of her way for him on a moments notice. From walking those extra blocks with him, to brushing him regularly so he doesn't get matted after a day of playing. Having a trusting person with Calvin when I can not be is so important and I could not be more thankful to have had her apart of our lives.

Schedule
I work full-time from home with a flexible schedule, making me available for house sitting and dog walking in all nearby neighborhoods. I'm happy to accommodate both short and long-term bookings to accommodate you and your pups needs!

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a spacious, multi-level home in the Inner Richmond and are conveniently located nearby THREE dog-friendly parks (all within 1-4 blocks radius) — Golden Gate Park, Presidio, and Rossi Park. My partner and I enjoy staying active, walking 10k steps daily, but we also appreciate relaxing at home, often watching PBS documentaries or sports. So have no fear - your pup will get all the belly rubs and playtime they need while you’re away!
A typical day
A typical day for any dog in our home includes plenty of long walks at Golden Gate Park, a visit to the nearby dog park for some off-leash play, and lots of belly rubs, and playtime at home to keep them happy and engaged. If your dog has a lot of energy and you’re comfortable with it, I’d be thrilled to take them on a longer adventure outside the city for a day of hiking. They’ll get to explore beautiful trails and enjoy a fantastic day in nature!
