Loretta looked after our boy Dodge overnight. We arranged a visit before hand to meet, discuss arrangements and see if it was a good fit. Loretta and her family were warm and welcoming and Dodge took to them right away. We were so happy with the care, attention and affection Loretta showed Dodge and he settled well. We were kept up to date regularly with pictures and videos. We wouldn't hesitate to use Loretta to look after our noy again
Loretta was amazing and gave me updates throughout the day, Bobby was very excited to spend the day with her and he is a ball of energy and Loretta handled him perfect and he came home and slept all evening so he’d clearly had a fun filled day
I recently boarded my little Cavalier King Charles with Loretta for 3 days, which I was quite nervous about as I had never boarded her before she’s 8 now, and a little nervous around other dogs. I needn’t have worried though Loretta and her husband were perfect and very good with her. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them again in the future.
I couldn’t be happier with the care my 4-month-old puppy, Anikan, received! Loretta’s home was spotless, pet-friendly, and had a lovely garden for him to explore. Loretta was friendly, professional, and clearly adores dogs. I really appreciated the regular updates and photos — it was so reassuring to see how happy Anikan was. She even took him to the park, even though he was only there for a few hours! I could tell he loved his time there. I’d absolutely ask her to look after Anikan again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter.
This was my very first time using Rover, and I’m genuinely blown away by how smooth and reassuring the experience was — all thanks to Loretta and her lovely family. I was a bit nervous leaving my dog Henry with someone new, but Loretta immediately put me at ease with her warm, friendly approach and clear love for animals. From the moment Henry arrived, Loretta treated him like one of her own. She sent regular updates with photos that showed him happy, relaxed, and clearly enjoying himself — whether he was out on a walk, playing in the garden, or snuggled up indoors. It was such a comfort to know he was being cared for so attentively. Her home is welcoming and pet-friendly, and her family was just as kind and involved. Henry wasn’t just looked after — he was truly loved. The level of care and communication exceeded all my expectations, especially for a first-time Rover user. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Loretta is a gem, and I’ll absolutely be booking with her again. Henry came home content, well-exercised, and maybe even a little bit spoiled — which is exactly how it should be!
Loretta did such a great job looking after my dogs – they were happy, relaxed, and loved all the attention. Couldn’t ask for better, definitely recommend!

Schedule
Since I work from home full time, pet care naturally fits right into my daily routine. I have the flexibility to schedule walks, playtime, and potty breaks throughout the day, and I love using my lunch break to get outside for some fresh air with a furry companion. My mornings and evenings are also open for longer walks, feeding, and extra snuggles, so pets never feel rushed or overlooked.

Because my schedule doesn’t involve commuting, I’m always nearby and able to give consistent attention and care. Whether it’s keeping a pup company during the workday, providing regular exercise, or sticking to a specific feeding schedule, I can easily adjust my day to meet each pet’s needs. Weekends are even more open, allowing for longer adventures or extended care when needed.
A typical day
Outdoor Activities Fetch (Classic, but loved!) Using a ball, frisbee, or even a stick. Hiking/Trail Walks Great exercise and mental stimulation from all the new smells. Agility Course I set up a backyard course with cones, tunnels, jumps, etc. Learn New Tricks “Spin,” “High five,” “Play dead,” etc. Short training sessions are great bonding time. Tug of War Great for energy burn and bonding. I use a sturdy rope toy.
