Dog Foster Mom & Shelter Volunteer
Hey there! I love all animals, but I work with dogs the most. I am an approved foster for a few local rescue groups and currently have a foster dog (she is my 27th foster!). I have volunteered at multiple animal shelters since 2010, and currently volunteer at my local shelter. I have experience with various types of dogs (and cats). I tend to work with the super shy, hurt, sick, or forgotten ones. My patience, care, and dedication for dogs is what sets me apart from most other people. All my friends and family know me as the animal lover and even come to me for animal related issues. My dogs are practically my everything, so I do what I can do be the pet sitter I'd want for my personal dogs. *At this time, I cannot do long term reoccurring visits.*

I currently cannot take dogs into my household for day or over night stays. I am only able to do in home drop in visits. For in home visits, I will do what is asked of the owner. In most cases, it is letting dogs out for potty breaks, cleaning cat boxes, feeding, providing medication, playing with the dogs/cats, etc.

***PLEASE READ*** I am currently a school teacher. Therefore, my pet sitting schedule is a little more restricted currently. I will no longer be able to do middle of the day visits during the week. My early morning and evening availability will also be limited during the week if I already have bookings. I appreciate you understanding and apologize for any inconvenience.

- I would like to know the dog's behavior/demeanor. Is the dog submissive and fearful or is the dog hyper and super friendly? What things would scare the dog or make the dog happy? What motivates the dog? It would be helpful to know their routines, feeding schedules, any medications, things to watch out for (behavior wise as warning signs if they are stressed, upset, or uncomfortable).
