Safe, Loving Care for Dogs & Cats
I am a mom to three human children, three dogs, and three horses. When my kids were younger, my "me time" was spent volunteering for various rescues and shelters. I love taking care of animals and found so much satisfaction helping out those poor little creatures who had no home to call their own! I loved it so much that I decided to start my own 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue! I figured that in doing so, I could help on a way bigger scale! Additionally, I could put more efforts in to helping people through the love of animals in need! Making the adoption process easy and fun, and making sure the humans and the pets are a wonderful match have made my rescue quite successful! Over the past 11 years I have rescued thousands of dogs, hundreds of cats, and three horses from shelters and other high risk situations! Throughout my years of taking care of pets, I have care for basically every age, breed, size, and temperament! I have also provided care on just about every level...from administering meds, IV treatments, vaccines, basic grooming, and basic training/behavior modifications. I joined Rover because I want to continue helping animals and support pet owners who need someone they can truly trust. I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, comfortable, and cared for like family while you’re away. Being able to provide that peace of mind is something I take seriously. Every pet has unique needs, routines, and personalities. My goal is to provide consistent, attentive care while maintaining the structure and comfort your pet is used to. I also prioritize clear communication so you always feel confident and informed while your pet is in my care.

Loretta was fabulous and went above and beyond to make Baxter (and me!) feel comfortable. She sent photos every day, was very responsive to texts, and was flexible with drop off and pick up times. She let him up on the bed, which is a special treat for Baxter. It was wonderful that she had beds, treats, toys, everything for dogs except for their food. That made dropping off so much easier than having to remember to bring everything. I highly recommend Loretta and very much look forward to booking with her again.
Loretta kindly accepted a last minute booking for my two dogs. They showed none of their usual anxiety when I leave, and were calm and happy as clams when I picked them up. This is definitely a place where dogs feel welcome and at ease. I will not hesitate to call Loretta again.
Loretta was absolutely fantastic with my dog, Evie! She kept me updated throughout Evie’s stay with regular messages and adorable pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was obvious that Evie was well cared for, happy, and getting lots of love and attention. Evie thoroughly enjoyed her stay, and I felt completely at ease knowing she was in such caring and capable hands. I highly recommend Loretta to anyone looking for a kind, reliable, and attentive pet sitter. We’ll definitely be booking with her again!
Loretta was absolutely amazing! We went on a family vacation, and after Duke struggled with anxiety and had to be moved twice while in someone else's care, everything changed once he was with Loretta. She made him feel safe, comfortable, and loved from the moment he arrived. It was such a relief knowing he was in caring and capable hands. Loretta truly knows how to care for pets with patience, compassion, and genuine love. We couldn't have asked for a better sitter, and we'll definitely be using her again in the future. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will treat their pet like family!

Schedule
My schedule has a lot of flexibility, and I am a full-time caregiver for these sweet babies! I will always do my best to be available for you and your furry family members!

Pets in my home have my full supervision, and when I am unable to have my eye on them, they are either crated or in their own safe space! Our yard is fully fenced!

A typical day
Our daily activities will depend on the dog's wants and needs! This can include either an intense game of fetch, a short or long walk, a hike, a swim or just lounging around! The pets I watch are welcome to hang out with my personal pack of pups in the main part of our home, or have their own personal suite where all my attention is on them!
